I cant decide which remedy pertains more to my situation. I have narrowed it down to Phosphorus, Nat Mur or Spongia.

Laryngitis from violent coughing as a result of cold/flu. have not been able to speak for eight days.
Cough in morning with green mucous and some clear. Itching in throat causes tears in eyes. Waking up with eyes crusted over, bloodshot. Lying down causes more coughing.

Craving for salt, better with hot fluids, lump in throat, inflamed, sometimes feels like seed or crumb stuck causing itching and tears. Acidic food irritating.

Hunger after eating. Slight deafness in left ear. Pain when speaking, voice very hoarse and crackly.
Better with humidifier on. Nose feels like its going to start bleeding. Dry nose, no runniness. Feel warm.

Music irriating early on with cold but tolerable now. Complaints from others that I am playing volume too loud.

Natrum Mur 1M single dose.

Menthol 6c proved to be an effective remedy in your case. It will give you immediate reliefe.

Please do not ask me the reason of my recommendation. I am talking on my clinical experience.

I have only the Nat mur in 30c. I have taken the three doses yesterday with only mild alleviation of symptons. I have feel internally dry and hot. I am drinking herbal teas with some electorlytes drinks. Drinking hot lemon water soothes the throat and eases phlegm. Its day 14 of larygitis.
