Default infection in root of molar

help! had root canal on bottom right molar in october, but has now started to cause a lot of pain. seems the dentist didn't get to the very root and that infection is possibly brewing there. have been given antibiotics (amoxycillin) to kill infection with hope that root canal can be reversed and sorted properly, but would prefer to sort it homeopathically.
symptoms are:
shooting pain down through tooth whenever any food or drink comes into contact with it. (feels as if i badly need a filling)
occasional shooting pain with intake of breath.
tooth marginally uncomfortable if apply pressure from either side, partic from outside, and from top.
dull ache (fairly low grade) in lower jaw, sometimes in upper jaw too (possibly the trigeminal nerve..)
seems to be getting worse.

want at all costs to avoid extraction.
any advice very welcome.
thanks
rosanna

rosanna,
Its better to consult a Qualified Homeopath near to your place who can monitor your case and advise you properly. In some cases root canal treatment creates more trouble if not done properly or if the root canal is destroyed beyond repair,In such cases extraction is the only alternative.
Before going for extraction consult a homeopath.

Dear Rosanna

Have been through the same nasty incident but myn lasted 3 yrs from the time i had my root canal done. The pain was horrid on and off,due to the fact i am a homeopath i was able to subdue the extreme pain for months at a time, never taking antibiotics, only echinacea/goldenseal for the infection. homeopathic remedies for the pain. But this was not easy to find, dont think you will find it on your own.
Finally i searched for a "HOLISTIC DENTIST" in my area to have this molar removed, now all is well. It is important to find a dentist that does not use silver/mercury in your mouth that is a SURE indication he is not a holistic dentist. Keep looking till you find one try on line................. its worth it.
all the best
