how long does homeopathy take?

how long does it take before you can notice a change when being treated with homeopathy, say for something like hayfever

you treat Hay Fever " out of season" and you have to wait until the pollens or whatever , are in the air THEN you can tell how much success you have had .

Normally also you do not treat when the symptoms are present.
