My boy cat Max has just been diagnosed with FeLV - the lab test came positive after he failed to heal an abscess due to another cat's bite. He had an amputation. Giving him liquid Vit C daily with food, about 150mg. He is doing very well. The problem is that our other cat just had a litter, today, 5 little ones so far! All grand, but worried that Max may pass the virus to them - he is keen on being a hands-on father! Molly, the girl of ! year is doing fine, hasn't been tested, and had no signs of any illness so far. I can not separate Max entirely from other cats - it is unrealistic. What is the advice as to how to aproach the situation? They are both taking Vit C and echinacea drops.
