Default Unda Treatments?

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this board (and to homeopathy!), and I was recently prescribed unda 9, 24, and 210. I have three separate vials, and I take 7 drops from each vial on my tongue twice daily.

Has anyone ever taken any of these before? Does anyone know what they are commonly precribed for and/or how they work? I have been searching for information on these treatments on the internet, but haven't had much luck.

To make a long story short, I am seeking treatment for anxiety/depression issues. I have also been told to take the following supplements, which I have also researched online:

1) EAF-Plex Capsules (which, from what I can tell, offers support to the adrenal glands, helping your body to better cope with stress)

2) Super EFA Liquid (a 'fish oil', high in omega fatty acids, which seems to help with a number of things including the nervous system)

3) Ultra Flora Plus DF Capsules, which are meant to introduce more 'good' bacteria into my intestines (I have a lot of intestinal problems).

Has anyone ever taken any of these supplements before? If so, did you experience beneficial results?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Default Have no idea

what unda is -- or if you are dealing with homeopathy .

May be Ayurvedic

The supplements are OK .

Takle the people who prescribed it and find out what the origin of unda is , then advise US

I believe these Undas are combinations of homeopathically prepared remedies. They tend to contain five or more different remedies, so conceivably you are taking 15 to 20 different remedies at a time. Most on this board would agree thats a big no-no.This is really a lazy way of prescribing as it is hoped that one remedy will resonate with you out of many. You could imagine the difficulty of case managment- as the prescriber would have no way of knowing which remedy is benificial if there is any improvement in your condition. We tend to prescribe 1 remedy at any given time in order to properly follow the case. In addition our homeopathic remedies for the most part have not been proven in combinations. Since you are interested and concerned you may do well to see a homeopath for homeopathic treatment I think you are seeing a naturapathic doctor? Since you are in canada check the west coast homeopathy site - they have a nice list of Classical homeopaths all across all across canada.
