You had been kind enough to recommend a remedy for my little boy in July- Silica Marina 12X once a day for 3-5 days in his bottle.
I have used this remedy about 4-5 times between July & now.
Everytime the reflux would go away.
However this last time I gave it to him for 5 days. He was much better on the 5th & 6th day & then the reflux came right back!
He is 9 months old now, is teething pretty bad & I have noticed his reflux always gets bad on days when he is teething a lot.
Also his stomach gets upset when he is teething & if it does , he passes bowel 4-5 times a day & then his reflux isn't as bad. Basically if his system is clear , he tends to spit up less.
Anyways..I have no idea what to do now..he spits up 4-5 times after he eats.
Any suggestions would be appreciated greatly.

Supression may result from inadequat prescribing, such as mentioned above.
The symptoms tend to return after leaving off the remedy for a short time.
This displays again how easy it is to guess around, and how hard and timeconsuming it can be to find the curative remedy.

In the intrest of the child, a visit to a homeopath, who will properly take the case, prescribe a remedy according homeoapathic principles, determine the right strength and frequency of aplication an also is available for follow-ups is desirable.

This case once again highlights the recklessness and lack of responsibility giving advise in a hit-or-miss fashion.

probably the Silica marina was purchased at a site where they supply a plant remedy scilla maritima -- instead of Silica .

Please check that you are using SILICA produced from basic rock material.

NB for Hans -- this was the result of a long correspondence on another site .
