Staphisagriya-He used his pent up anger of being thrown off the train in S.Africa to take on the might of injustice through non-voilence and disobedience movement. He never expressed his anger openly-retaliation wasn't his method. His public life meant a lot of strife in his family- with his wife and his son Hiralal. He never spoke of it. (There is movie being made on this aspect of his life).
By the way he did have a lot of tooth problem, I know a Brigadier whose father- a dentist had extracted one of Mahatma Gandhi's tooth. The Brigadier has now handed over the tooth to the Sewagram Ashram museum. Last edited by Onyx; 7th October 2005 at 07:16 AM. Reason: typo |

It reminds me of our day at college. During our Repertory exams (VIVA) we used to be given just names of any great leader or famous person and we have to find the appropriate rubrics for that personality.
Ofcourse the examiners decide which repertory to be given in our hand from around 30 repertories on the table. |
