Dear Sir/Madam, My father is diagnosed for Hepatitis B +ve and has Liver Cirrhosis and HCC. Following is the brief history of diagnosis and treatment. He has become very weak after treated with Chemotherapy (1st dose) and his food intake is reduced. I am looking for alternate medicines other than what he is taking at present. So, I request all of you to look into the case and please recommend a good Homeopathy Doctor for his treatment. We are located in a City called "Bangalore" in INDIA. I also request you to suggest Homeopathy medicines for my father. Thanking you, Shivanand. ========== Patients History, Diagnosis and Treatment =========== Patient's name: CHANNABASAPPA Gender: Male Age: 65 Place: Bangalore, INDIA. Result of Diagnosis: Diagnosed to have Hepatitis B +ve with cirrhosis of liver on November 2004. Patient was admitted to hospital due to 'TIA' on February 2005, discharged from hospital after one week of treatment, recovered quickly (from TIA) became normal. Diagnosed to have 'HCC' on June 17th, 2005. Following are details of diagnosis: ++++++++++++++++ Diagnosis Reports +++++++++++++++++ --------------------- Hbe Report --------------------------- Negative. --------------------- MRI SCAN Report --------------------- Impression: Large nodular lesion in the segment 7. The lesion measures 3.18 cms antero-posteriorly, 2.55 cms transversely and 3.17 cms supero-inferiorly. Lesion shows mild enhancement in the arterial phase with mild retention of contrast in its central aspect on the delayed phase. This is suggestive of a dysplastic nodule/malignancy. Suggestion: AFP correlation. Smaller nodular lesions in both lobes of liver. These are hyperintense on the plain T1 WT and hypointense on T2 WT and suggest possibility of regenerating nodules. Mild perihepatic fluid. No other significant abnormality is seen. ---------------------- AFP Report --------------------------- Test Report as on June 17th, 2005: 580.9 ng/ml ---------------------- FNAC Report ------------------------- Report as on June 24th 2005: Dysplastic Changes. And there is no evidence of malignancy in the material studied. +++++++++++++++++ End of Diagnosis Reports +++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++ Treatment +++++++++++++++++++++ On medication with the following Tablets: From November 2004: LAMIVIR HBV 100 mg, Daily one tablet. ALDACTONE 50mg, Daily one tablet. From February 2005 (after TIA): LAMIVIR HBV 100 mg, Daily one tablet. ALDACTONE 50 mg, Daily one tablet. CLOPIDOGREL BISULPATE 75 mg, Daily one tablet. LACTULOSE (DUPHALAC) 15 ml, once daily. On June 23rd 2005: For the HCC, Chemo embolization was tried, failed as there was block in hepatic artery. As per doctors statement, treatment with Surgery or injecting Concentrated Alcohol are not possible. Further Doctor suggested for Palliative Chemotherapy and the patient was treated for the same on June 30th, 2005. ++++++++++++++++ Patient's Health History +++++++++++++++ Patient does not have any habits. No smoking, No drinking of Alcohol. Food - Vegetarian. Before November 2004, patient had very good health, never admitted to hospital, did not had Jaundice. Dear Ramachandra,
Thanks for your response and suggestions. I am not a homeopathy practitioner. The reason why I am looking for homeopathy is to give a good treatment with minimal side effects and get better results. My plan is to use homeopathy along with allopathic medicine. Since my father has become weak and susceptible to infections due to the chemotherapy I am looking for a homeopathy doctor in Bangalore itself. Please advise me if you know a good doctor in Bangalore. Meanwhile, later in the evening I will send you the detail info about my fathers case. Thanks, Shivanand. |

Dear Sir [passkey],
Thanks for your suggestion and I understand what you say. I thought that taking an Aaurvedic (herbal) medicine along with Allopathic medicine will not have conflicts. I heard this from some of the doctors too. Is there any problem with this approach? Thanking you sir, Shivanand. |
