I know that it is made from Dog's milk. To answer your other questions, we need to know, what for you need it, who prescribed it, etc..etc..

I was prescribed it years ago by an NP to help with all the "beaten down dog" symptoms and ADHD. She never gave me instructions beyond just taking it once and I can't afford to go back to her right now. Unfortunately she's all about the money and won't talk to her patients over the phone like an MD would. I remember feeling unbelievable for a few days about 3 weeks after I took it. My daughter has ADHD and won't take her meds and she is miserable. So...I didn't know if this is something that could be taken daily, weekly, monthly...and if it is safe. I hope someone can give me some insight. She never really educated me on this remedy.

Default Lac can.

Hi Mypidgeon.
Lac caninum or bitches milk can make you feel as if you are 'walking on air' it can also make you feel very bad. It produces various feelings, but are you asking for yourself or your daughter? One Hpathic remedy does not work for someone else as they are all individualised to fit the person, not the disease.
Find a Classical Homeopath for proper results. Natropaths do not thave enough knowlege in Homeopathy to do justice to it, or you.
Warm regards.

Sorry! I guess I combined two thoughts. I was given the Lac Caninum by a NP (I think) and like I said she never really gave me instruction. I was thinking of trying it again but am wondering how it is to be taken.

I am starting to think that there's no clear cut dispensing of this remedy. Is that correct? I stated on my previous post that I cannot afford to pay such high fees as my insurance does not cover my visit to an alternative medical professional. She is only interested in the money and doesn't do follow up consults over the phone.

Is there any information anyone can give me or is this remedy something that shouldn't be tampered with?

I felt so awesome but only for a few days.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Paula

Hi Paula,
Homeopathy is an energy therapy and is not used in the way that we are used to (like asprin for headache).
We try to find a remedy that matches the person, There are specific remedies for certain conditions, but in general this is not how it works.
There are several sites that have information where you can find out what this method does. Some have a form you can fill in to state your condition, but this has its drawbacks as it is in the public domain. You may not get the best advice, but its free.

passkey has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default It is specifically stated

in the Lac Caninum details that it should be only given as ONE dose at long intervals!.

It is almost a specific for betwetting.

Also -- more than any other remedy , relieved deafness from hereditary syphilis.

During sleep saliva runs from the mouth weeting the pillow.

Has many, many throat symptoms and has been used for diptheria.

etc etc.
