I am Ravi, living near Chennai - Tamilnadu - India.
My son, a sweet little boy of 6 years has got a keloid in his right ear lobe.
It started after the ear boring. Ear boring was done by 2000 June. A small growth was noticed behind the ear after few months of ear boring. We consulted the doctors and was told it was ear implantation dermoid. They allowed it to grow for a minimum needed dimension and then it was removed by surgery by 2003 Aug. It was around 10-15 mm diameter sphere when removed. Now also after some time from the surgery we noticed a growth at the same place. I took him to the doctor and this time I was told it is a keloid. They say it will reccur if it is operated. Doctors say the only remedy for that is steroid injection. Knowing the side effects of steroids I am inable to decide what to do.
Now the size of the groth is very big. It is projecting out side the ear both in sideways and bottom. I am very much worried.
Please advice/suggest me for any better treatment for my son. Thank you

CAN YOU PLEASE ELABORATE YOUR MESSAGE BY GIVING NAMES OF THE MEDICINE, POTENCY, ITS ADMINISTRATION AND THE PERIOD OF MEDICATION.
WILL IT BE OK TO START THE MEDICATION AFTER THE SURGERY SO THAT WE ARE ATTACKING THE PROBLEM RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING.

Homoeopathic approch is something different than other systems. From your letter it is clear that you are unfamilier with it. There is no specific medicine.
Every disease has its internal origin. Some manifest externally and we call them skin diseases. If we remove the external symptoms, the only clue to the disease is lost. So treatment become difficult. You can consult a good hompath personally and try at least for 6 months. If improvement is there you can continue. For the name of disease there are so many medicines. But no gurantee it will succeed. The experienced hompath can find the remedy by observations and symptoms.

Nice to see you back!
Not sure what you wrote on the other forum but I have personally used with great success Thiosinaminum for keloids - even a long scar (from upper thigh almost to her knee) that grew hard, lumpy and unsightly on my daughter after she'd had a car accident, broke her femur and had to have a rod inserted then 1 yr later have it removed (upon my request as I did not believe that despite the Dr's claims, a titanium rod can safely be left in the body forever!). It also works well for left-over acne scars after an adolescent has passed that awful 'zit' stage.

What potency did you use? How often? Did you use it internally or externally?

Internally I used 30C and then 200C as the 30C had exhausted its action; it was obviously working but not quite enough. Externally I used Vitamin E oil and Evening Primose Oil (I broke open capsules which work better than buying bottles of the oils as the capsules are stronger) and massaged them into the scar at night and morning. Unfortunately I cannot remember how often as it was approximately 16 years ago...
