Default LM potency

I just began reading about the way the LM potency scale works, and I was wondering if there is any controversy surrounding it's use since not all homeopaths use it.

I would be very interested in finding a homeopath who works with the LM potencies. I had a very bad experiance with a homeopath who only works with 30c to 1m potencies. My experience was that the low potencies (30c and below) helped my 6 mo old baby, but were only palliative. The 200c was too much of a jump and caused severe aggravations and only very slow and minimal improvement.

So is that more a of a sign that it was the wrong remedy, or that he could have benefited from a switch to the LM scale after the 30c potencies?

Default Talk to a brick wall!

I keep saying that the 200 is a potency to avoid
I keep saying that the 200 is a potency to avoid
I keep saying that the 200 is a potency to avoid
I keep saying that the 200 is a potency to avoid

but no one takes any notice . I always jump from 150 to 1m.
Some people like to use them because no one can deny that the remedy has done something!.
But often as not there is an overreaction, such as this one.
Certainly Lm's are "gentle" but my experience is not deep enough to comment.

So, does that mean that even though 1m is a higher potency than 200c, that it actually produces less aggravation?
