Default Dry Eyes Syndrome - problem

Hi Doc's,

My friend is sufferring with dry eyes. meaning he cannot keep open his eyes for more than 10-12 seconds. if he does, the eyes become dry and he seem to get irritation and bothers him very much.

FYI, he is a very skinny guy weighing around 125 pounds, 5'9 height and 28 yrs of age. He has been having this problem for quite a long time, i would say around a year may be

Are there any medicines that you guys can suggest ?

thanks

Default reply to dry eyes

Dear poorguy
As you know by now, we need more symptoms than that to give you an workable answer, please post more in detail, like his personality, likes, dislikes, dreams, eating habits, sleep habits, fastideous,or not,is he antisocial,social....lots more .......Plus the meds he is taking now (allopathic meds and for what) His complete picture will direct us to a remedy ,and if that is not possible all these questions will be asked by a homeopath he needs to go to in person if not here on line.
Any time you post a question this will be asked of you from a homeopath,in allopathy this is not asked, that is the difference.

I did notice you are a programmer (is your friend also? then perhaps it is something simple like too much computer time,as programmer do spend hours and hours and hours at work staring at the monitor)
(my husband is computer programmer/artist in the field of games and he has this problem when it's "crunch' time at work)

All the best

Thanks for sharing the info, I will let my friend know about it and then ask him to post all the details
BTW, I am a s/w architect and work all day in front of the computer. that caused me to get eye sight -1 and -1.75 due to abuse of eyes. Lately I have started to relax

Default Possible problem

but not often , is that the the ducts in the ciliary body get closed or narrowed and then there may be risk of glaucoma.
