What would be the best remedy for a cold? Symptoms - initially sneezing and sore throat on LHS, followed by stuffy/ runny nose -also left side, shivery alternating with sweaty ( also at that hot flush time of life, so not sure which the heat is attributable to) Catarrh yellowish.

Been at the honey, herbal echinacea, vit C, garlic etc, but wonder about a homeopathic remedy.

There is only one medicine that covers these symptoms in Kent's repertory.

Hypericum, but the grade is one. So, try it out. It may or may not help you. Post feedback.

Herbal remedies do not like garlic- it neutralises them.
Personally , at the first sign of a cold I take Acon 1m and it goes away - but only at the very start ,no good later when it develops.
