Hello

The distinctions should be : Sulph is a "warm" remedy, Staph is a chilly one with some few paradoxes (likes to get out and walk in open air with less clothes than a "regular" chilly remedy, headaches are ameliorated by fresh cold air, same as coryza, vein congestion - Staph is a type with congested veins and likes a lot motion when in the sthenic moments). Sulph usually less sluggish in the morning, Staph very aggr. (especially toxic symptoms), needs a booz to be able to walk away from home, needs a booz to "warm-up" for a chilly weather, whilst Sulph will simply walk away in the cold and have the booz whenever he/she feels like. Staph is social, Sulph is rather morose and dislikes entourage. Both are sensitive to family but Sulph will rather hide this. Sulph is usually very affectionate about the child of opposite sex. He/she will not admit overtly (until very late) that he/she has a true addiction problem. Staph will communicate very overtly, ask for help and sympathy. Nux is a tricky situation, it acts fast and is a detoxifying remedy so can actually remove many superficial symptoms of a chronic intoxication but not more.

Need to remain dirty recalls Thuja. Thuja is a perfectionist, a liar, a diplomat, loves to think high of himself but less direct as Sulph in expressing it. An intoxicated Staph can resemble both Sulph and Nux, but Thuja will de-block many clarifying symptoms. Thuja likes the smell of his own sweat and has also diminishing thoughts about himself (the symmetric recoil from thinking high of his apptitudes). Thuja is rather paradoxical whereas Sulph is more direct and Nux even violent. Thuja will burst in unexplained anger because of minor details in the event causing it (like being touched or looked at in a way he doesn't like more than about being simply shout at).

Try to see also (by appropriately conducting the interrogatory or other indirect means) how the patient feels about losing the job. Staph can get aggravated and self-distructive by the feeling he/she was rejected, and the feelings of unworthyness can result in both addiction and disruptive temper with the entourage. Sulph is bold whatsoever. Nux is vicious rather by the need of mobilizing for work than after having been dumped, Nux is also very fastidious, has a true mania for details. It is rare to see a Nux case really careless top to bottom. Thuja instead is all the time. Sulph is even disruptive with the given order, Staph feels to weak to face the task of complying to it.

The type of alcohol - this is very relative, but Thuja tends to like beer.
