Default Urgent Advice needed please

Hello everybody,

I have been on Natr Mur 200CH split dose every other day for the last 10 days.
This is for a chronic problem caused by an UTI I catched some years ago.
All the physycals and mental symptoms point to this remedy.

3 days ago my girlfriend dumped me because of my indecision on many matter, first of all going to live together with her (yes, this indecision is mainly caused by the health problems).

The day after, on monday I was very sad but normal.
In the evening I took my dose of Natr. Mur.
The morning after, yesterday, I started to feel very sad, blaming myself and my chronic problems, I want to cry, lot of palpitations, lack of appetite, constriction in the chest and stomach.
In the night I had a very bad sleep with persistent thoughts, thinking at my ex all the time, lot of palpitations.
The urinary symptoms look a bit better.
My homeopath is not available at the moment.

Are these symproms caused by the Natr Mur together with the stress caused by the end of the relashionship?
Should I stop the remedy Natr Mur?
Should I take an acute intercurrent (i.e. Ignatia)?

Dear Robin
Nat-m may be the perfect remedy for you but you are taking quite a lot of it. I have never found it necessary to give a 200C (of any remedy) twice a day for more than 3 days. As your homeopath is not around to ask about this, I suggest you stop your Nat-m and allow it's beneficial action on your urinary symptoms to continue working. Your symptoms of distress are probably normal in the circumstances but will ease with time. I wouldn't take anything that might interfere with the Nat-m until it is absolutely indicated.

yes this is too much dosing
when i give homeopathics it is one globule disolved in water then succussed and take one sip....then wait...........that's it.
stop taking so much.......contact your homeopath for further instructions.
(yes ignatia is the acute of nat mur. but i dont know your case and will not advice)

Default Nat mur

Peculiar but you have picked on a remedy that Kent used as an illustration of a remedy that will take a case back to 'square one'

So if you have overdosed then the brst thing is to take a single dose of Nat mur 10m. This should sort many of the problems you have.

Default How long

How long should I wait before repeting the Natr Mur remedy?
Yesterday I felt a bit better but today I got some feeling of anxiety, insecurity and palpitations again. It's so frustrating!
Should I see some improvements soon right?
I think an LM would suit more for my case since it's a chronic problem of 5 years duration...
I also think that I have to change homeopath because mine in very difficult to reach and just tells me "repeat this for 10 days, no matter what "...

Default Repeat

If you are talking about repeating a 10m dose then wait at least 3 weeks -- possibly longer .

Try reading " War and Peace " followed by Joyces complete works.

just wanted to say something on this: not on the nat mur but on the situation: separation and stress often go hand in hand - it gets to be a vicious circle and the repetitive thoughts can be really tough to handle - what i use for people around me with this problem is the Bach Flowers White Chestnut - i have had some amazing results with this, because it seems to enable us to "get it behind you", and even if you are still thinking about it, you are no longer "mulling it over" and "incapacitated" by it..

worth a try..

don't know if anyone else has any experience with this, but the people i have given it to, and used it myself for one or two things, have all said the same thing, enables you to manage the situation instead of letting the situation manage you....

dear robin
yes you can also try Bach Rescue Remedy ,this is wonderfull for any trauma, emotional, mental and physical.
The Back and Forth mixing of potency in Nat Mur. is a bad idea, you cannot do this yourself if you have zero knowledge of how a remedy/potency/dispensing works. Please find a classical homeopath near you,for peace of mind (or try Meditation,Pranajama breathing)
