I really am in need of some help for my 3 month. old son. Here are the details:
My son is exclusively breastfed and about 7 weeks ago, he started suffering from really bad eczema on his face. He had two large patches of eczema on his cheeks. Then, I went to a Homepathic/MD practitioner who gave him Phosphorus 30c about 6 days ago, and his symptoms have gotten much much worse. His face is completely covered by a rash now. His whole face is extremely inflamed, dry (to the point that skin is just flaking off), and very itchy at night. Red bumps now cover his eyelids even. The doctor said that there may be initial aggravation that would last no more than 3 days, but his just keeps getting worse and worse. I am very concerned. Is there a homepathic practitioner out there that could help explain what is happening? How long will this aggravation last?

I am desperately trying to figure out whether or not I may have "given" my son his current state of eczema.
I gave him three different remedies(Viola 6c, Rhus Tox 30c, Viola 30c) at different times, and each time, I noticed his skin got much worse. I had heard somewhere that if you give someone the wrong remedy for an extended period of time, you may actually give them that actual problem, and that it may be permanent. Is this true? Could I actually have given my 3 month old son his blistering facial rash?

This is infantile eczema.Not to worry about existing condition .He may go through this condition for some time .
Every skin treat ment has this stage .When we prescribe on totallity ,system starts getting cured ,throws out to surface fully before getting cured .This is desirable so that tendency which is dormant manifests fully before coming down. Only Ur son has to under go this stage before he will be cured .He wiil be gnerally OK,but for eczema. Pl dont get nervous and DONT shift him to other type of treatment.
Ur Homoeopath should have explained to U earlier.Go back to Ur Homoeopath and remain with him in the intrest of Ur son.

If U would have gone to allopathic treatment (with Local application and ,mostly steroid applicaton and internally also steroids),tendency would have suppressed and would have shifted to next important organs like lungs -asthama, ,or rectum -constipation and haemorrhoids ,even some times affects growth and development.

Nothing to worry.Needs patience

thank you so much for your response..it has helped me come to some sort of peace...i keep blaming myself - is it something i am eating or something i have given him....

so this aggravation could last for more than a week even?
i dont know if you read what else i wrote but i had given him other remedies before; could i have worsened his eczema by giving rhus tox 30c 3 times a day for 3 days? i feel that i may have "given" him his current condition? is that possible with homeopathic remedies?

Yes there needs to be an agg. for it to clear properly,but with a small baby one must be carefull to redose too many times,in my oppinion i would of given the baby only one dose in water and taken a sip only.Then wait..........
Was your baby vaccinated? Or born with eczema?
It will get better with homeopathy as mentioned before on this forum.Allopathy will suppress it make is 'go away',untill it hides within a organ deep within the body then later you see more chronic ailments.Contact your homeopath ask questions.........

This is not aggravation due to medicine .Medicine only helps vital force to get over the condition .Skin diseases should be allowed to manifest fully and then get clears.Here U have to wait only.Vital force(body) itself will manage .Duration depends on individual.Nothing to worry .U have to get his urine examination to see for any urinary infection.This is generally complication of badly managed skin disorder.If other conditions are ok ie like his appetite ,stools and sleep etc better U pl wait HE will benefit .

It looks Phophorus is latest administered remedy . I dont think U have contributed for his problem by administering Rhustox.

Single dose and wait method is always good. You should give ample time to complete action of each dose for curative process.

Rhus tox repeated dose will surely aggravate. Let your physician do the treatment, don't interfere with his treatment with your own remedies.

Have you got alergic history like skin,asthma etc in family?

Vaccines are evil when it comes to babies . They have no immune system , The Japanese bar baries under 2 yrs from vaccination , This should be more generally applied .
Eczema is often a post vaccinal problem.
