Hi there,
I wonder if you could help me? I suffer from a very dry mouth (duration 4 months), the doctor has tried numerous sprays, chewing gums and pastils - they improve the problem for a few minutes and then its back to my normal dry mouth. There is no coating to my tongue, no bad taste just a dry mouth. Eyes are OK. My age is 70 yrs. I have a heart problem and have been on beta blockers for 18 months. I keep asking the doctor is it a side affect of the medication but he says no. My research of the drug also indicates that this is not something usually associated with the drug. The dry mouth is driving me nuts - please help. I have very little money and cannot afford hom treatment.Thank you. |

So many possible remedies . Beta blockers are almost certainly having some effect on your endocrinal system.
Have you any fillings in the teeth [ assuming that you still have them] , are you a bit up and down , when young did you have dark hair. Are you affected by misty foggy weather?. Any allergies?. Any acidy burps?. |
