Default Shifting to lower potency

Hello,
I just want to know if it is OK to start taking a lower potency(for ex. 6x) after a high potency stops acting(for ex. 200c)? Will it work?

thanks,
Venkat.

passkey has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default shift potency

It is normal [?] to start on lower and shift to higher . As Kent said often one has to go up the potencies until a "secret spring" is released.

But - the lower potencies are broad band , wider acting and will often work even tho' wide of the mark. They are usually the best place to start.

But if a remedy stop working and the cure is well down the road then it is best to either repeat , or shift to a higher potency .

But the fact that it has stopped working may mean that it was not the right remedy in the first place.

So for more accurate help you need to post more details

I think, it can be possible in case of some remedies, when somewhat opposite effect is desired eg; Silicea in lower potencies, to encourage pus & in higher potencies, to stop/absorb it.

Hello,
Thank you very much for the reply.
Actually, I used the phrase "stops working" a bit loosely. What I meant was "when the improvement stops". I had to make this decision when I went to a homeopathy drug store where only the 6x potency was available at the time. I was a bit curious if the lower potency would have worked or not.

thanks,
gk.
