I came to know that Hannemann proposed anti clockwise rotation of medicines.I am not able to get further inputs,as to in what context,and for which purpose he proposed this.

I am curious.Can anyone throw light on this?

No, I have to disappoint you. I`m afraid ! I know about anti-clock wise vortexing of water, but that`s not what our friend Murthy means. Murthy is referring to Hahnemann, who was at a certain stage, I think, in favour of anti-clock wise rotation when potentising/preparing remedies/medicines. I have never come across this subject in literature. Perhaps one of the other members can explain this further ???

I have the experience of visiting many countries. I also closely observed the status of homeopathy in different part of the world. I have also visited many pharmacies. Two years ago, when I visited India, I was shown a potentiser which make potency in two ways, centerifugal process and jerk method. When you rotate potency in clockwise or anticlockwise then actually you do centerifugal process.

When a team of homeopaths visited a homeo pharmacy in Pakistan. Me and Dr. mas were also in the group, he also objected on centrifugal machine. He said, if you use centerifugal machine then actually you do not prepare new potency rather you refresh the same potency.

In this picture, you can also see dr.mas on left, dr. iftikhar mugal in the center and dr. iqbal on right. The managing director is briefing about the different techniques used to prepare new potency. Actually potency does not form by doing anticlock or clockwise method. Hence Hahnemann rejected the idea.

Thanks for your explanation. I agree with you that a centrifugal method (clockwise or anticlockwise) can`t be the same as the succussion method or have the same effect. (Perhaps a strong vibration may have a similar effect???) That`s probably why Hahnemann rejected the idea. It`s strange that nothing is to be found in literature though.
