Dear Ma'm,

I am a classical homoeopathic practitioner and I would like to purchase a full stock of SBL dilutions for my clinic.
I use BT-usa remedies and I am interested in switching to SBL.
However your local office here in calcutta, could not answer my pre order questions. May I request you for a reply.

My basic question is about the source / origin of the back potencies that are used for the dilutions. I have checked your website and their is no clear info on this.

Are the dilutions made from tinctures of indian origin / foreign plants grown in india ? If so, how do they match with the provings of plants grown on foreign soil ?. We know the difference between the clinical effects of the same plant cannabis, grown in india (cannabis indica) and usa (cannabis sativa).

your website cites logistical infeasibility / custom deptt / possibilty of microbiological contamination etc as reasons why raw fresh plants from foreign countries cannot be brought to india. I wonder if the dilutions are made from the mother tinctures made from these dried plants - will they match the classical provings ?
(I limit my question to the quality of the dilutions and not go into the issue of the quality of the mother tinctures made from these dried plants)

or do you use authentic usa / europe (Boiron ?) back potencies and prepare the dilutions from them ? A simple clarifying statement to this effect (with a clear mention of the source) on your website can end this confusion.

your website mentions and I quote "All back-potencies are exclusively made at SBL for making Dilutions.".
I clearly remember reading a SBL pamphlet years ago, that said that the SBL remedies were made from "imported back potencies"
Has the situation changed ?

Kindly do enlighten the homoeopathic community, about the facts.

I thank SBL for providing "world class homoeopathic remedies at no extra cost" . You do deserve the GMP and the ISO 9001:2000 certification. I have read all the details about your committment to quality, R&D, use of extra neutral alcohol, demineralized water, sterilization procedures, computerized potentizer etc etc on your website (www.sblglobal.com). I had read a few posts on the homeolist, where some international members were doubting the quality of SBL remedies and I hope this will satisfy them. They may check more details on your website.

May I request you again, on behalf on the whole homeopathic community, to tell us about the origin / source of ALL the back potencies, that are used in the preparation of the potentized dilutions.

Best Regards,
Dr Manish Agarwala
