Hi all - I read on the net that sulphur and nux vom were a good "detox" formula so I did as they said and took 1 6c nux vom at night and 1 6c sulphur in the morning. After about 2 days I developed a strange sense of smell which is still with me - its weird - like a slightly burning/car exhaust smell!!! V odd! My actual sense of smell is fine - can smell other things normally but I can smell this other smell...I know it sounds odd but can it be related to this homeopathy?

I burned bergamot essential oil in a burner at around this time also - and it was v strong - could this be linked?

No it just wont do .
Low potency Sul and low potency Nux vom in alternation are a very old classical way of dealing with some problems . They are originally mentioned in "Constitutional Medicine " by Von Grauvogl -- translated by Dr J H Clarke , as a way of dealing with the sycotic miasm.
What are you attempting to do?.
If you have been on narcotics there are remedies for that .
If you are wishing to cleanse the bloodstream then low potency Sars may help.

So you have read somewhere that its a good thing to detox .. there are specific techniques for that which , I believe involve living soley on water for a period - its not something homeopaths know much about . If you are dealing witha specific toxin then tell us what it is and the symptoms.
