Default Arthritis

Hello

I am brand new to this list and I would like some advice on a problem that has been bugging me.

I would like to treat my elderly female client for her arthritis but am unable to find a rubric in my repertory and my knowlege of remedies is still developing.

The arthritis is only sore and noticable when the air is wet.
ie agg by rain
agg by humidity

I gave Rhus Tox, but I knew it wouldn't work, as it is a remedy for cold and wet agg's.

I would like to know if there is a Rx to cover this symptom.

I am in the process of odering a Kent's Repertory.
Murphies has let me down a number of times now.

Thanks for anybodies help

Meg

Assume the arthritis is not deformative - which would suggest a kidney problem - but is in fact inflammatory . What allopathic treatment took place in the year before symptoms developed. You may need to "unwind" or get rid of a "cured" set of symptoms. If antibiotics were used then that is the source of the problem . Consider using Nat Mur 10m - Kent says that this will bring a case back to square one , where you can retake.

Meg, you need more symptoms and modalities. For sure Rhus Tox is the first to think but also Na-Sulf, Dulcamara... but also other remedies.

So tell us more about modalities, localisations, wandering ? pains, reaction of tissues and surroundings.
I think that your Murphey is a really good repertory. Kent is good for beginning and also basic but take the case... this is important.
