She feels fine since the backache has gone. She told me, that she hopes this emotional stability will hold on, as till now she felt like years earlier, before the depression has started, but still a little bit anxious, because there was sometime 6 weeks between the depressions. Her throat is sore a little bit, and there is some postnasal dripping, but generally she feels well. Should she just wait and see if things are getting better? She told me, that it feels like her memory is coming back slowly - nothing dramatic, just her speak is more flowent, shouldn't stop and find the right word, and she definitely has stopped stuttering. Before she took the Calc., she stuttered with the words she can not find right away, like she would only remember the first letter.

Default your friend's case

dear ppmoni,

may your friend be happy and healthy.

I have not repertorized your friend's case and moreover I would need to do a full case taking for the correct prescription.

however, I did read through your posts and SILICEA came to my mind.
(please do not take this as final)

please note that classical homeopathy is to be taken seriously and I would not recommend self prescription. your friend needs to see an experienced homeopath immediately. I would also not recommend taking 2 or 3 homeopathic remedies together and/or combining homeo with allopathic medicines or supplements or your own. see an experienced homeopath now.

this is far more deep problem than ca supplements or alumunium cookware etc.

may your friend be happy and healthy.

Thank you for your reply!
As you may have read, my friend presently can not afford to see a homeopath. This is why I have turned here.
As to now: she stopped taking Calcitonin which was precribed for the osteoporosis the radiologist diagnosed at her. And she didn't had anything else prescribed.
As I wrote earlier, according to the advices I'v got here, she took Calc. carb C200 in water once at the last spinning vertigo, till it went away, and next time once when she had a backacke. Now she just wait, to see if things hold on.

Default New informations

My friend just phoned me, that she started to have "heat flushes": she wakes up in the middle of the night, sweating, and feeling the room too hot. This was - as she told me - a usual happening about 8-9 months ago, and has stopped around the time the more serious problems started. I think it is a good sign, that she's got this back.
She also became aware now (she is using natural contraception, so she always know her basal body temperature) that in the last 2-3 months, her overall temperature has dropped about 0,2 Celsius on average. And now she just discovered, that her temperature is catching up: in the past few days it was in the range it used to be earlier.
Maybe her thyroid was low - this could contribute to her depression.
Now I have told her, that things are happening, so just wait. When, or at what sign should she repeat the remedy?
Thanks for all your help!

You may repeat one dose of calcarea carbonica... but do'nt give it too much... the calcarea is still working and in my opinion calcarea carb. is the remedy or the simillium.

While the remedy is still working - wait - don't repeat the dose.
I think that's what fons meant.

Default inflamed tonsils (re?)appeared

My friend informed me of the following symptoms: she had pus on her tonsils. There are no pain, no sesitivity, she only discovered this by coughing out one piece of dry pus, and then she looked in the mirror, to find many more pus on her tonsils. Earlier this was a usual thing: 4-6 or more times a year she had tonsilitis with pus, which was treated with anitbiotics (years ago) or just by selfmedication with homeopathic remedies in the last few years. (She said, many times Belladonna helped, occasionally Merc. sol.)
What should she do now? Repeat the Calc. carb? Or just wait. The only things bothering her with this case is a foul smell she feels because of the pus, and sometimes, if one would come off, the terrible taste too.
And one additon: a few days ago she got some acne on her back, where she didn't used to have them - she has acne in the second half of her menstual cycle, but only on her face. On her back she had them only while in her teens...

Default Earache is back too...

She now reported me that she has an earache, so I tol her to dissolve the Calc. carb. in a glass of water and take it a few times, or until the earache is getting better. Or she should take a spoonful of this to another glass of water and take that? Shoul it be potentialised? How much strokes if yes?

Be carefull. Stop repeating and wait. We have not enough ideas about the inflammation of tonsils and earache. The tonsils are not swollen, not painfull... what means that she has pus on tonsils ?? She has no fever or other complaints ? The remedy is acting and if serious symptoms come up ... observ but do"nt repeat at this moment.

OK, she forgot to take the remedy anyway, so I told her, to rather wait. She had no pain on her tonsils, they are biger than average, but they are this way always. No redness, no pain, no fever. She felt a bit irritable, confronting more easily with her family members, feeling as if they offended her with what they did or told...
The earache is gone at the moment, only she hear her Eustach-tubes opening at swalowing, with a load "snap".
She told me, that outside this irritableness in the last 2 days, she feels really great, and even anxious about keeping this great time, and not relapsing. She said, she almost can not believe, she didn't felt this great mentally in the last 1,5 years. She still forgot things, she had to do, but her speak has improved much, no searching fo words, no mixing of names, and no stuttering.
And one more addition: she is over her first menstruation after taking the Calc. carb. C200. And she was surprised, because it just came "out of the blue", without the usual warning PMS, so she really didn't expected it to happen. Even her husband was surprised, because at times she didn't reallised the PMS, he always did, cause he said "that times nothing is good enough for her, and she feels hurted so easily, and sees everything in dark colors, it is unmissable, that she will menstruate in 2-3 days." No there was no mental signs...
