I fully understand the point that you make and your reaction.
I agree with you or rather - my thinking is the same as yours.

However, a lot of things go on in this homeopathic community that I do not understand. on one hand we have the strictest LM advocates or the classicalist who would wait for many many many months after giving a single dose of 200C. on the other hand we have the high potency prescribers of the past (and who can deny that many of them like kent, nash, lippe were great masters) or others at present who subscribe to "1M twice a day for SIX WEEKS" ........
they all claim great success !

will this is not about choice or potency or range of potency alone - but the vast oceanic difference in the different lines of thinking is quite perplexing. how do they all claim great success ? as far as I am concerned or my thinking or my expereience is concerned - 1M twice or thrice daily is out of question. if I give a 1M - I would give a single dose and wait.

I am cut- pasting a piece below. it comes from the website of dr rajesh shah of bombay. this is from one of dr rajesh shah's cases, as posted on his website. dr rahesh shah holds a record for treating patients online from 100+ countries, he is a teacher/ lecturer on homeopathy, he has many websites and perhaps the most organised/ biggest clinic in asia. (this info is from his many many websites)

I cut paste the piece and make no comments.
all I can say is that I don't understand.

if you would like to read some REAL shocking stuff on the use of LMs and also centesimals, please read the book "psychiatry and homeopathy" by dr fernando risquez, b jain india, 1st edition.

the book mentions great academic and clinical experience of dr risquez and I come no where near such lofy academic and clinical achievements. he is an MD, psychiatrist, head of neuropsychiatry in military hospital, studied homeopathy with martin kelber, ortega, paschero, trevino, elizabeth hubbard, foubister, pierre schmidt.....
he was the president of liga medicorum homoeopathica internationalis......and a lot more.


I simply post a few lines from the book and state that I do not understand how this sort of posology can successfully cure any case, without massive super aggravations and/or completely disorder.

I do not intend to contradict or question dr risquez and his work.

I simply state that I do not understand.

a few glimpses on the posology of dr risquez -

- using the LMs as a single dose (LM 30 or 60 or 90 or 120 or 180)
- open cases with 0/30 or 0/60 or 0/90.
- 2 doses of LM 0/30 in 1 day
- common use of LM 0/30, 0/60, 0/90, 0/120, 0/180
- lachesis 0/30 in january, 0/60 in feb, 0/90 in march, 0/120 in april.
- nux vom 0/180 ....after one week hyos 0/60 (the patient needed this "due to an ugly fight with the ex wife of her boyfriend" ). after 5 months - this patient was given natrum mur 0/30 LM . after one more month ignatia 10M centesimal.
- lachesis 10M in march, staph 10M in april, sepia 10M in may.
- phosphorus 10M " half a dropper every hour, 1 bottle"

are LMs available upto 0/180 ? which pharmacy ? and who uses them ?

has anyone else use LMs in dry / single doses ?

if the sort of posology as used by dr risquez or that case by dr rajesh shah works, then ..........I do not know what to say ..........
