Default diabetes and treatment

i was studing about diabetes mellitus, and wandering how homoeopathy treat it , is the treatment same like an allopath system like check the sugar level and if it exceeds from normal then start drugs or insulin to maintain sugar level normal, but no one, no one ever dare to treat pancreas, which is actually effected.afterall diabetet is caused due to impaired insulin secreation or total lack of it or .......whatever happening to insulin , there is actually problem in pancreas....then why don't it is treated b/c if pancreas is 100% ok then it will be secreting insulin 100% ok as well, and the sugar level will be maintained as well 100%....

any idea ......i hope its not a stupid , meaningless question......

no in fact --question is appropriate--most so-called individuals squirm at such cases-but here is where homoeopathy need 'shine' in order to take presidence -it is capable of--but again the problem is in creating 'good ' homoeopaths..homoeopathy has no limit save the prescriber envolved---observation of symptoms is the true monitorization of any/all cases..

It is certainly a case where homeopathy has the opportunity to make the day. A very distinct chronical and incurable (but treatable) disease as viewed by conventional medicine. If homeopaths were to begin presenting remittals of chronic type 1 diabetes, they would meet instant recognition.

However, the only credible case stories I have seen so far have been about the acute presentation (there exists an acute version of diabetes, which sometimes presents as a complication to pregnancy, trauma, or severe infection, but that version normally remits spontaneously once the primary condition has resolved).

Homeopathy has a different definition of cure than allopathy. I think in general if the person is symptom free for five years, it is considered a cure in allopathy. For homeopathy, it is that the propensity toward the disease is eradicated. Given these definitions, I seriously doubt that diabetes, either type I or type II can be cured homeopathically. I have seen cases of Type II cured with homeopathy if we are willing to use the allopathic definition, but with long term patients, 10-15 years later, as they age, it again sneaks up on them. I have never seen or heard of a type I being cured with homeopathy by any definition. What I have seen with both types is the complications improved and the quality of life improved, particularly with type II. Instead of getting complications at 10 years, they don't appear for 30 years. The symptoms of neuropathy reverse, the circulation improves, etc.

Note: I am not refering above to the acute presentation. However, if that occurs, it is an indication that the person is more prone to developing type II diabetes in later life. This would be an indication to me to start a homeopathic constitutional remedy in the hopes of warding off or postponing the day when the person developes full blown diabetes.

Well, symptom free and not under treatment, so diabetes is not considered cured. The reason for that convention is, of course, that if the patient is free of symptoms (and any other signs of the disease) for 5 years, if she gets it again, it cannot be know if it is a relapse, or a new instance (and it doesn't really matter).

I would agree that diabetes should be expected to be incurable by homeopathy, since it is due to an irreversible physical change in the body, so regardless of paradigm, you cannot expect it to be curable except by some, as yet hypothetical, reconstructive therapy.

Of course, the need for medicine and the progress of secondary effects can be treated, so under the homeopathic paradigm, this should be possible. The skeptic's comment on this is, of course, that the same effect can be achieved by good lifestyle advice.

I don't know if acute diabetes is an indicator for predisposition for type 2 diabetes. I think acute diabetes at some level is fairly universal in cases of severe trauma. It is certainly part of the usual post-operative syndrome.

It is said but confusing that acute diabetes as gest. diabetes to both mother & fetus(Fat & long baby), mal-nutrition during pregnancy(thin/short baby) & modern lifestyle & environment are some indicator for predisposition for type 2 diabetes & insulin resistance. It has also been indicated that this type of diabetes can be reversed by improving modern lifestyle, diet & physical exercises. These conditions or epidemic type rise is said to be due to exposure of modern lifestyle changes & environmental factors to genetically predisposed people. Whereas type1 mostly caused by genetic changes & damages- seems to be irreverable except yet hypothetical, reconstructive therapy as Mr.Hans has mentioned. Under this consideration, I think acute & type2 diabetes, Insulin resistance AND conplications from all type of diabetes should be under the homeopathic paradigm & this should be possible. Type1 diabetes/IDDM can yet be treated by replacement hormone therapy--as common to all systems.

Thumbs up Diabetes and treatment

Diabetes treatment in Homoeopathy is totally different than allopathy. What allopathy treats rather manages is blood sugarlevels.Well diagnosis mabe depending on increased blood sugarlevels but cause may not be just failure of pancreas and its insulin producing capacity.Earlier I also like others used to belive that Diabetes is incurable even in Homoeopathy. But Today my experience is different
a) in early stages Diabetes can be cured and Diabetic patient also .
Diet ,Exersise and Homoeopathic treatment based on Totality inclusive of causation ,Miasmatic, and other manifesting symptoms. Lycopodium in asending potencies cured Diabetes whic started eversince his Jaundice. Natrumsulph in ascending potencis like 10M,50M AT LONG INTERVALS brought down Blood Sugar levels along with removal of abnormal symptoms with 1-1 1/2 hrs of walking and diet of 70% of requirement.Sulphur brought out Psoriasis and cured Diabetes which was due to wrong treatment of psoriasis.
b) Insulin in potency remove insulin's secondry symptoms and also Insulin resistsance.
c) I find comlpications once set in,it is difficult to reverse but under homoeopathic treatment its progress can be halted and can improve quality of life.
Homoeopathic treament is not just control blood sugar levels but by treating the patient as whole can cure in early stages ,avoid complications surgeries -amputations .
Homoeopathic treament can also prevent Diabetes in Potential Diabetic

Default diabetes

Masoor - first bit of sensible optimism on this thread - apart from shirley- diabetes is most definately a miasmatic outcropping . Nat sul is a sycotic remedy and Hereditary Gonorrhea is often at the root of the problem. It is certainly possible for the body to amend its own tissues - which it has distorted in order to reduce the stress at the root of the problem.
A body can cure the cancer it had produced in response to a particular set of conditions. If those conditions are removed - allopathy calls it "spontaneous cure" . Why do they not do in depth study of spontaneous cures?.

Default even healing is business-oriented here

And nobody makes money on spontaneous cures. Not pharmaceutical companies anyway, who have some. They do reseearch but on new druugs which actually MAINTAIN the diseased state.

Fotunately spontaneus healing happens totally free.
