I am specifically concerned about my 13 month old and my 8 year old. I do not have access to a homeopath but do have access to homeopathics remedies. My 13 month old has been steadily getting worse for 12 days and although I have given him the drosera it doesn't seem to have helped him. His cough is worse especially at night when I have to pick him up to pat him on the back so he can stop coughing and go back to sleep. His mood is good and his appetite so-so as he usually eats more but I have been nursing him more since he began coughing. My eight year old coughs in a violent and spasmodic way especially at night and during the day after exertion. He vomits sometimes but has a good appetite and is in good spirits. If anyone has any suggestions as to the course of treatment I will be very appreciative. |

You might want to enter their cases in the online remedy finder at abchomeopathy.com/. There are also some wonderful homeopaths in Mass. Check out http://www.homeopathy-cures.com/html...sachusetts-New

From what you have described, it sounds as if your 8 year old may need a dose of Ipecac. This is a remedy that has violent bouts of spasmodic coughing that can end in vomiting. You could try one dose of this and see what happens and repeat if necessary if the remedy is working.
