Exclamation whooping cough

I was reading on this site an account of a baby having whooping cough (a 2000 discussion) and I was wondering if I could elicit some advice for my kids - all have the disease but are reacting to it differently.
I am specifically concerned about my 13 month old and my 8 year old.
I do not have access to a homeopath but do have access to homeopathics remedies.
My 13 month old has been steadily getting worse for 12 days and although I have given him the drosera it doesn't seem to have helped him. His cough is worse especially at night when I have to pick him up to pat him on the back so he can stop coughing and go back to sleep. His mood is good and his appetite so-so as he usually eats more but I have been nursing him more since he began coughing.
My eight year old coughs in a violent and spasmodic way especially at night and during the day after exertion. He vomits sometimes but has a good appetite and is in good spirits.
If anyone has any suggestions as to the course of treatment I will be very appreciative.

You might want to enter their cases in the online remedy finder at abchomeopathy.com/. There are also some wonderful homeopaths in Mass. Check out http://www.homeopathy-cures.com/html...sachusetts-New

Look at Pertussin - the nosode

BTW - my kids had it and were left none the worse. All the kids in the street had it and they were all vaccinated except my 2 !! i.e. the vaccination doesn't work!! Before you ask what I gave them - it was nothing as I was not into homeopathy 28 years ago!!

I have the nosode but am not quite sure how to administer it. Any thoughts?
Also will it help as the kids are really into the middle of it?

From what you have described, it sounds as if your 8 year old may need a dose of Ipecac. This is a remedy that has violent bouts of spasmodic coughing that can end in vomiting. You could try one dose of this and see what happens and repeat if necessary if the remedy is working.
