Dear colleagues - would appreciate some help. A pregnant patient (26 weeks) who suffers from chronic hayfever is now having a terrible time with her hayfever with itchy symptoms - itchy nose, throat and ears and violent sneezing. No streaming eyes or nose. Better for cold applications. Worse outdoors.
I saw her for the first time. Her constitutional remedy Arg Nit does not cover the above symptoms. Is is wise to treat her acute now separately or go for the constitutional?

She came just for the hayfever symptoms.

It's absolutely fine to treat her for just the hay fever. I find it takes baout 3 years to cure hay fever after starting a patient on a constitutional remedy. Each year the start of the hay fever gets later and the symptoms are milder.
