Default rather not take antibiotics but...

my 4 yr old girl and i both have nasty cough for 3 weeks. seems to be getting worse. deep hacking phlegmy (yellow) cough like a long term smokers(i dont smoke) . she had earache two nights ago right ear i gave her belladonna it was gone by the morning. when i cough my head hurts. homeopathy seems a bit confusing for home treatment when its not obvious - i have recently been giving us both propolis vit C, echinacea, honey, goldenseal. and during her earache i gave her anas barbariae 200 3 times. i gave her ferr phos on the odd occasion but not very consistently.
today finally went to the pedriatrician who, after listening to her chest with a stethoscope, has programmed her for an xray tomorrow and says she must take antibiotics as it is going on too long and the choice of antibiotic depeends on if she has or not some kind of pneumonia.
i wld try to avoid antibiotics unless extremely urgent. however the one decent homeopath who i have heard about here is unfortuantely unaffordable for me.
any hmeopathic suggestions? i dont want to be irresponsible re. antibiotics but i just know they aren't good for general health...
she s sleeping better at nights than bfore so presumably it is getting better (though my cough is getting worse!)
thankyou

Homeopathy is confusing and that is why the training is 4 years!!! Please do not self prescribe for you or your child with such high potencies as a 200 as you could do some damage. You really have not given us enough detail to prescribe for your child.
