Default Need Help with my Case

Hi,
I'm Eve, needing help wiht my case. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, & am currently taking Phos 6C, twice a day. Questionaire divided into three parts because of length.

.K. I'll try again & divide it in parts.

Part One

Please provide answers to the following questionnaire if you are looking for homeopathic treatment. You can copy and repost under a case thread or under the private forums. Please remember that more information is better when it comes to homeopathic case taking.

First Name: Eve
Age: 62
Height: 5’ 3”
Weight: 130

CHIEF COMPLAINT:

1. What is your chief complaint (CC)? Tell as much about it as you can, including what is the worst part of it and why it's the worst: the sensations, the kind of pain, the location, how your energy has been affected (for example, has the complaint made you restless, weak, nervous, anxious, irritable, hypersensitive, effected your thirst and appetite, your body temperature, and so on).

I have been fighting this complaint since 1999. After being in & out of emergency rooms & spending a large part of my time in bed in 1998, & having every test done under the son & all coming back normal, I was finally diagnosed at separate times, by different Doctors of having Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & of having an under active thyroid. I have been on Synthroid since then. I also take a vast array of supplements & Moducare for my autoimmune thyroid.
I also had triple by-pass surgery in 1995, so that is always a concern too. The major problem that I am having now, is lack of energy & shortness of breath, just changing the sheets on the bed is a major ordeal, as is cleaning the house. I would so love to have the energy to do these things again!

2. When did this problem begin? What happened in
your life around that time? What do you think
caused it?

It began in 1998. I was re-married in 1997 & we were planning an anniversary cruise, when all the health problems started & had to cancel it & stay home. I experienced the loss of my 18-year-old Siamese cat Misty in the latter part of 1997 & also a seven-year-old cat that same year too. Those are the only bad things that happened that I can remember.

3. What aggravates the CC and what brings it on?(for example, certain types of food or weather, movement, light, noise, company, talking,
heat/cold, or anything else that you can think
of; please be specific) and what makes the CC better (for example hot or cold, massage, eating, lying still, music, company...)? What does it make you do to try to feel better?

Strenuous activity makes it worse, as does stress. The part of the day that makes me feel better, (although not energetic) is my evening relaxation time in the bath, with candles & music. I look forward to that time of day the most.

4. At what time of the day or night is the CC the
worst? Specify an hour if you can.
5. What symptoms can you identify that accompany
the CC (whether directly related or not; for example, headache with nausea; or menstrual cramps with diarrhea; a cold with irritability and anger)?

Mornings are the worst. I have 0 energy then. It takes me till ten or eleven o’clock to get moving. Symptoms are mainly extreme fatigue, for example, just raising my arms above my head to fix my hair, makes them ache. I sometimes have stomach bloating & queasiness.

GENERAL QUESTIONS
6. Environment: With regard to the seasons, weather, outdoor temperature, indoor temperature, drafts, air quality, air-conditioning, ocean air, mountain air, humidity, the sun/rain/thunderstorms/clouds/fog, etc.: what environmental factors give you comfort and relief, and which ones cause discomfort and distress? Try to give examples.

I am most comfortable in cool or cold weather outside. The heat & humidity made it harder to breathe for me & also the fatigue is worse in the summer & spring, which is unfortunate, as it would be nice to get outside & garden again.

7. What position is most uncomfortable for you?

Standing

8. a) Do you tend to be chilly or warm? Are there parts of your body that are colder or warmer than the rest of you? Is there a special time of day or night when they are colder or warmer? b) Do you perspire a great deal? If so, when? And where on the body? (Feet, head, hair, chest, armpits, etc) Does it leave a stain of a particular color? Is there a particular odor?
9. Describe what your tongue looks like.

(a) It can vary, I am freezing sometimes, mostly in air-conditioned places, & other times, I am having hot flashes & sweating.
(b) Not a great deal, mainly when I exert myself, but I do have night sweats sometime & wake up with my P.J.’s drenched. When I perspire normally, it is usually on my forehead & and hair. No stain or odor.

(9) That’s a hard one, pink with whitish coating.

MENTAL/EMOTIONAL
10. What do you worry about? How do you deal with?
Worries?

Money, cat’s health, my Mom’s health & my health. Mostly the only way that I deal is praying.

11. How do you keep your house/your desk/your room/your study/your bathroom?

I’m afraid. Not very good right now. There is way too much clutter to suit me & it disturbs me that none of those places are neat enough or clean enough.

12. How easily do you cry? In what situations?

Fairly easy. When one of my cats or family is sick or when things just get too overwhelming, sad movies..

13. When you are upset, what do you do to help yourself feel better?

Say the serenity prayer, try to think about something else, go shopping or take a hot bath.

14. What makes you angry? What do you do when you're angry?

Cruelty to animals, being criticized for trivial things. I usually cry.

15. Do you have an emotion that predominates; such as anger, depression, irritability,
anxiety, jealousy, joy...or possibly two emotions that tend to alternate predictably?

Probably anxiety & worry

16. What fears do you have?

Fear of dying & leaving my cats alone, fear of my husband dying & leaving me alone & unable to care for the cats & myself. Fear of losing my home. Fear of heights.
