Naturalhealth is on a distinguished road

The acute of Nat Mur is of course Ignatia, so you could look at that. However, as regards asthma and wheezing, definitely look at Arsenicum. Nux Vomica also has some asthma symptoms and is good for what is known as hay asthma. Bryonia also has some chest symptoms with stitching pains that are better for rest and worse for slightest movement. Probably more akin to pneumonia and pleurisy though.

I would suggest that you look at Arsenicum first though and see if this fits. It is a very big asthma and wheezing remedy.

If you are thinking about ars in asthama then weakness after attack is the key note symptom of ars. If weakness is not there then ars is not the remedy.

Asthma is not an acute. Having a cold might be, but asthma is chronic, even if there are only occassional flare ups.

Dear colleagues

Thank you all for your suggestions. I repeated the constitutional (Nat Mur) for the acute flare up and the patient is now doing well.
cheers
Asha
