thirsty
Post

I get really thirsty after I eat and wake real thirsty. Also, real hot and dry and feel like I lose a heck of a lot of heat when I use the bathroom (#2).

Anyway, on a chinese medicine BB, a guy told me that I was deficient in stomach yin and too much yang in my liver. He told me ways to cure it but don't have as much faith in those things as I do in homeopathy.

Does anyone out there know how to this homeopathically? Meaning, is there an acute remedy to increase yin in the stomach and decrease yang in the liver?

If you have time, please let me know.

Homoeopathy and acupuncture are two different medical paradigms.
What you have described sounds more like something of a chronic nature, not acute. So it would be a matter of taking a homoeopathic case to find a homoeopathic remedy, rather than attempting to re-interpret acupuncture terminology into homoeopathics.

So chris, excuse me for interrupting...but what do you think of what george v. said in his science of homeopathy...that only 3 things could cure a person of an illness...homeopathy, acupuncture or the laying on of hands of a highly spiritual person? Chris..or anyone else who has an opinion on this.

Hi there! So you've come up for air huh?
I've never read that book. But I've personally experienced curative effects from all three as a patient on different occasions.

if you know how powerful homoeopathic medicine and acupuncture can be, then you will realise that you need to take the treatment of your condition by either means seriously and consult a good practitioner in person where possible.

it is just possible that high thirst levels can signal diabetes, so it would be worth considering a urine test for that.

Anna is quite correct. Have a diabetes test before you do anything else!!

Yes we can increase and decrease your yin / yang as per your demand by homeopathy. First answer these questions

How do you feel about cold and hot in general?

Is your mouth dry?

what about your breath ? cold or hot?

Is there any kind of lining over the mouth?

Do you feel some kind of pain in your abdomen?

Does the symptom aggrevate on covering up the body?

Is there any problem of heart burn? before or after meal?

what is your frequency of going to toilet / bathroom?

Do you feel fullness in your stomach?

Do you sensitive to bad news?

What about your condition when it gets worse?

Are you alchoholic?

Did U ever feel nausea?

Dear Arshad,

these questions are highly leading - are you looking for a specific remedy? It is best to ask open-ended questions, ones that do not lead the patient to giving particular answers, and especially ones that do not lead to a simple "yes" or "no".

My money's on the diabetes test. Once you get that done, go and find a good homeopath and have your case taken in person. You'll need longer term care, and someone qualified to manage your case.

That should not take place here, on a bulletin board. Never mind about yin and yang with homeopathy--there may be parallels, but TCM and homeoapthy aren't the same thing.

WHY to discourage a person who want to ask a question related or unrelated to homeopathy? Refering each patient to consult nearest homeopath is not healthy attitude? It means we (student) can not ask our questions here?
