Hello , me again, the young 86yr. old who had you busy with the highblood pressure.Which is fine now. However, now I have discovered after many weeks of not being able to eat hardly anything that I have Helcobacter Pylori in my stomach. Of course my doctor wants me to take a combination of three antibiotixs RX;s for 14 days. Im not ready for that yet.
Healthstore has capsul called Mastic Gum which I will try if I cant find a homeopathic remedy. Has anyone had experience with this illness. Understand it starts in mouth, goes to stomach and then into ulcers. As an up date, I;m usually a very active, 125lb. 5'3". lperson, but this has made me tired, sleepy, no zest (dont even want to go dancing) bloated, gasey, nauseas, lathargic.(? spelling) todate I have not found anything that fits well, I thought of sulphur, or arsen al.and need some help on this, thanks again in advance. dege1@juno.com

Do you have bad breath with this? What are the symptoms you are showing, other than not eating.
Could you have gotten some infection from food.
What is the not being able to eat feel like. What time of day are you better and when are you worse. Better or worse on an empty stomach etc.? It seems like you need your whole case taken. Rather than treating the infection only, you need to have your whole body strengthened to prevent this continuing. Is the bloated in the middle of you stomach. Is the gas high up or middle stomach or low down. what foods do you crave, like, dislike. What foods make you feel better and what foods make you feel worse.
I know you eat well, but sometimes good food aggravates a condition. A month or so back when you were feeling tired, do you think this was the start of the stomach problems?

Thank you for your help and will try to answer all questions: Breath is not bad, but first thing in morning always have to scrub my tongue and mouth well, as i feel like a film of something is in mouth. If I dont eat, dont have bloat, or stomach pains between breasts. if i eat, sometimes get nauseas, larthgic, indigestion, bloated, back headache, Have no idea where the bacteria came from, have no cat/dog, use fishmulsh in my veg garden and own food compost. Feel better when I dont eat at all, just liquids, green veg drinks better than fruit juice, unless diluted. Gas bloats whole stomach, pain in upper part between breasts.cant wear anything tight around waist. enjoy my veggies, own breads, nuts, seed, not wild about salmon or fish tastes, enjoy dried fruits, and all fresh fruits and salads, like choclate but refrain from eatng same, use carob instead. dried ginger, all dried fruits when i want a sweet or little licorich candy.allergy tests only showed allergic to garlic, but i know i cant handle onions either for years. milk give me mucus and im a heavy mucus maker, right side of nose has to be blown out few times a day. the stomach problem has been going on for a long time, take lots of Mag,phos. been belching at nite, food I ate for supper for months. but the finally was when I had this bad rash from touching a plant last month, and in the same time all the foods i ate made me sick one way or another, cramps, belching, nauseas, bloated, etc. all in the stomach area and up.
I have taken 4 tablets yesterday and not so bloated at nite, took 2 so far, and ready for breakfest to see what happens next.tho I am belching as I write and slight pains between breast in stomach. thanks so much for your response. dege1@juno.com

I always smile when I see your posts -- and how energetic you are - dancing your heels off - so active . Sorry you aren't feeling so good of late.

Hope you feel better soon Dorothy.

Take one dose of Lycopodium 30C. You may need to plus this remedy the next few days. Mail me for directions.

No beans, peas, cabbage, aloe vera, garlic or onions for now. Avoid for a while bread and starchy food if it gives you gas, this is only temporarily.
Eat your food warm or heated up too for a while.

You may also break out in a slight rash again, but this is part of the healing so don't suppress it by an oinment.
We will retake the symptoms in several days and you will need to go on to a second remedy. I have one in mind but it will depend on the symptoms you have them.
Take care and talk soon.

Hello Dorothy,

You may have contracted H. Pylori as a baby from your mother - it's insidious - so you may have had it all your life, but it is starting to affect you only now. (Common in farming communities.)
In time, it spreads all over the body, though obviously not fatal.

Taking those antibiotics for two weeks completely eradicates the bacterium from your whole body, once and for all.
H. Pylori infection has been proven to be a significant risk factor for gastric ulcers and stomach cancer.

It is difficult to know whether the H. Pylori is contributing to your present symptoms. Do antacids help you?...e.g., Ranitidine/Zantac (suppression of gastric acid secretion).

I am not a Homeopath. Advise you to follow the above Homeopaths' recommendations first.

But if the problem proves to be very persistent, I advise you to go ahead with the antibiotic treatment.

Tim

Hello Dorothy (now when you thought it's over I have to answer)
Doctors who use homeopathy call PYROGENIUM a homeopathic antibiotic. Homeopaths (as above) take all your symptoms into account and advice the remedy. Follow this first.
I personally don't like the idea of taking drugs/antibiotics as you kill "good" bacteria too (take acidophilus if you follow this route anyway) - H.pylori lives in acid environment (pH in stomaach is 1.5) it cannot live in your mouth (neutral, 7-7.5 usually) - until several years ago we thought ulcers were caused by lifestyle, namely nervous eating, stress etc then the H.pylori was isolated from the ulcer and now the bacterium is blamed for everything that goes wrong with the stomach, including cancer. I don't think it's true (but I'm a microbiologist not oncologist).
Bacteria are not your problem-your symptoms are: did the dr tell you that H.pylori is responsible for your symptoms?
