So...Hans...in spite of the obvious things that you would find homeopathically distasteful about the site...what about that summary of the organon? Not worth memorizing?

Yes, Hans, Fool's gold does impress.

Be careful to know, for certain, who is the fool. And also what is the fool's gold.

Those who seek to unite homeopaths--inspire us, push us to study and reach and test and learn and heal, despite and even because of surface differences...well those are the people who will become well known and well respected homeopaths as the science continues to flourish, because they will ensure that homeopaths become numerous, well trained, intellectually and technically brilliant, and empowered as a group. These are the people whose positive, nurturing efforts will attract, and heal, people who seek out treatment for their diseases all over the world. Patients will seek them out with confidence, and the world will change for the better because of it.

Those who seek to divide us, who seek to create a "hierarchy of knowing" where none exists, those who seek to make themselves feel superior by insulting others who are doing important work, those who cannot learn how to work with others in order to further common goals...these are the ones who will go nowhere and undermine homeopathy all over the world. These are the people who will draw scorn from the public--and really, the public and patients are the only people who matter to us. If our patients can't see our confidence and our strength and can only see people who grumble and put down their colleagues, especially the ones who have obviously completed monumental undertakings with their research and healing work in homeopathy...well, then, all they will see are people who claim to be homeopaths who really have no confidence in their own skills. If all they see are jealous, unfulfilled, needy, complaining "practitioners" who constantly try to belittle their peers, then they will always turn to conventional medicine, even if it doesn't work. Better the devil you know than the contemptuous devil you obviously can't trust.

The sooner homeopaths get this truth down, the sooner we will become the mainstream medicine.

p. s., Hans: even though I know you didn't really mean to be insulting, you ought to know you were.

Just want to remind you, your insults reveal a lot more about you than they do about your targets. Even if (actually, especially if) they are "unintentional".

Atleast we should agree on this point.

My contention is that the sixth edition is about 150 years out of date, and long overdue for an upgrade.

Homeopathy has various contradictions. These are the words of person who has 40 years of homeopathic experience. We should not simply ignore these words.

Hans what could be the contradictions?

My first heretical quarrel with the ORGANON is that the Totality of Symptoms is no longer the ONLY way to find the Similimum. In my view it is the least effective of all the pathways open to us.
I think the writer of the article is the member of this board who took notes from a member's post.
