Hi David,
Helios is my usual supplier but what I am after is Cactus in a herbal tincture like I buy my Crateagus. I have patients take 10 -20 drops 3x a day as a heart tonic. They are often able to cut down on their allopathic drugs after taking this for a few months.

Thanks all for your responses..

Anybody who could teach me, what is the bio-chemical or physiological role of Crateagus tincture in the body which declared the Crateagus that it can be use as TONIC for heart and what will be the action or role of Crateagus when the same given in potency form like in 30 or 200?

Secret Agent,

Texts in materia medicas recommend china 30 and acid phos 30, according to indications, as tonics for debilitated patients after protracted illness When I say most of the Pakistani posters need to undertake a serious study of materia medicas, I am not that wrong!

The rules and principles are there. Whether you accept or don’t; whether you apply them or not won’t make them disappear similarly as the sun won’t disappear if one denies its existence!

By the way, do you know, what are the signs and symptoms that contra-indicate crataegus in heart problems?
Regards

Hi Ricky,

If you'd like to order from the US, I could let you know where to get some. I also saw a very good response using crataegus tincture and the constitutional remedy (kali-c) in a person with end-stage heart failure.

Thanks for the offer David. I have no current patients who I would give it to at the moment.

Hi MA,

I confirm that tonic action is one sided while potency action is more than one side. For taking tonic advantage we can not use potency. The potency acts in wide variety of ways. I am an expert on CAM.
