These reports really annoy me as we (homeopaths) all get good results from treating asthma cases. The problem with these studies as Opium has revealed is that they decid on one remedy - say Arsenicum - and then give the same remedy to all the trial patients who don't get the placebos. And there's why it won't work . It is not individualised and these trials never will be because it is nota valid scientific study unless everyone gets the same thing!!!

well if the idiots who did the so called trial saw the difference Homeopathy is making in my Asthmatic Grandson they might just bite their words

No! Asthma is purely curable under the use of homeopathy. Homeopathy is famous for treatment of few diseases. Asthama disease is one out of them which can easily be treated by using homeo medicine.

This double-blind, placebo-controlled trial showed that over 80% patients given a homeopathic remedy improved, while only 38% of patients given a placebo experienced a similar degree of relief

38 percent were got relief by using placebo. It's a quite handsome figure.

The destination about the most double blind are not available. They are all fraud and a try to discredit homeopathy.

Before we go off on a tangent about how placebo acts, remember that 38% got better using placebo; 80% got better with a homeopathic remedy.

What we usually see in conventional medicine is that placebo is as effective and often more effective as the actual drug. This is certainly the case with SSRIs, as a recent study comparing the effects of Prozac and Panax to placebo revealed (placebo acted more curatively in more people--plus no side effects).
