Thanks Dr. Leela, I haven't seen any typical aggrevations to sulph so I have been carrying on. I was taught to make up an LM and divide into 7 doses to be given daily unless dramatic improvement is noted or severe agrevations are caused (depending on severity, adjusting the dose is likely to settle to enable one to continue). I have no plans to go straight to another remedy after the last dose of sulph, rather wait to see what happens. Right now the discharge is hardening (although still the same amount), there is no obvious inflamation or pain to the ear (never was) so I'm not that concerned (as I am with the dog). Perhaps I'm thinking ahead too much, but I finally had some time to work on these cases this last weekend. If sulph dramatically changes the situation, I guess I did the work for no other reason than practice, which is OK too.

Hi Kkrista,
My ain't I sounding crabby today - just one dose of Nux Vomica 30....

Ok, I'm not familiar with that type of Lm1 dosings. Only 7 doses from 1 potency?

We used very precise drops and dilutions for LM's that are adjusted and finely tuned based on the reponse to the remedy.
The number of doses an LM patency can give (depending of course, on response) is 30 - 35.

An aggravation to a remedy can be a return of old symptoms or an increase in existing symptoms. That is what seems to have happened.
Well the best way to know that is to wait, as you said. SO we'll keep our fingers crossed.

I'm unsure on how to advise you on resuming the LM repetitions with the preparation/method you've been using though.
