i bought the remedy on sat afternoon. at the same time i felt i had a little more energy and that hte pain was subsiding so i htought it better to wait and see if i was just goingto get better alone.today, monday i do feel much better though there is still residual discomfort when i swallow, lots of mucous and I'm still a little weak. I feel sure that the remedy you finally suggested was right as i looked it up and it seemed so, but by the time i was able to find a chemist that could give me it, i thought the symtoms not severe enough to warrant intervention. this is a common problem for me when trying to heal myself and my family - by the time i work out a good possible remedy, and get to the homeopathic chemist uptown the symptoms have either changed or dissipated. In this case i suppose it is a self limiting sickness so relief has come just as the remedy has been found.
i'm assuming that the body is happier to get better alone than with the use of medicine of any kind at the tail end of a sickness and that the risk of ill effects of erroneous remedies or dosages makes it a better idea to do nothing when the condition is less acute than before. does tha tmake sense to you?

That makes perfect sense Zanna. I have run into the same troubles treating our cats for upper respiratory viruses. Ultimately, no matter what you give them the virus will have to be dealt with by the body. If the body can do so without the aid of a remedy or medication, all the better!
