OK, here's what my notes say on the subject:
Milk Aggravates: Aethusa--Milk allergy to cow and breast milk, pyloric stenosis, projectile vomiting, violent reaction to milk. Nat-carb.--Milk allergy. Gas, bloating, colic and diarrhea. Burping. Silica--Puny, frail, failure to thrive depite nursing. Regurgitates the milk. Calc-carb.--Regurgitates the milk. Just can't tolerate milk. Sometimes it's what Mom is eating--Brewers yeast, goldenseal, Vitamin B6, medications, antibiotics. Also, if Mom is angry, the milk becomes sour. ***** Hope this helps. Snoopy [ 11. Hi
You, the mother may take calcium carbonate 200 C one dose and keep nursing the baby, as this will change your milk and help the baby this way. [ 11. March 2003, 21:00: Message edited by: Carole Franske ] |

Why you should not use soy formula.
Article at: http://pub158.ezboard.com/fhomeopath...picID=36.topic BIRTH CONTROL PILLS FOR BABIES? Environmental toxicologist Mike Fitzpatrick, PhD says he doesn’t have it out for soy. His original concern was for babies: “They were getting more soy isoflavones, at least on a bodyweight basis, than anybody else,” he notes. “It wasn’t so much that I knew what that would do, but that I didn’t know what that would do.” Fitzpatrick, who is also webmaster of ... Soy Online Services (www.soyonline-service.co.nz), a website devoted to informing people about the potential problems with soy, stresses the potential dangers for the developing human body: “Any person with any kind of understanding of environmental endocrine disruptors, compounds [like isoflavones] that are not in the body normally and can modify hormones and the way they work in the body, any expert will say that infants need to avoid these things like the plague.” Fitzpatrick was quoted - and misquoted - worldwide a few years ago when he suggested that the isoflavones in soy formula were the equivalent of birth control pills: “When I first did my review, I did compare the estrogenic equivalents of the contraceptive pill with how much soy infants and adults would be consuming,” he says. “It’s at least the equivalent of one or two estrogen pills a day, on an estrogenic basis. I’ve been criticised that it’s not the same form of estrogen, but in terms of estrogenicity, it’s a crude but valid and alarming statistic.” MANGANESE MADNESS Besides the dangers of prematurity and other reproductive problems posed by isoflavones, Baumslag mentions the high levels of the mineral manganese (no, not magnesium) often found in soy formula. The problem of manganese is so serious that even one soy manufacturer put warning labels on its soymilk. The company’s president, in a press release, states that “there is mounting evidence of a correlation between manganese in soy milk (including soy-based infant formula) and neurotoxicity in small infants.” With manganese toxicity known for producing behavioural disorders, the press release even goes further stating, “If research continues, showing that the current epidemic levels of ADHD in children, as well as impulsivity and violence among adolescents, are connected with the increase in soy-based infant formula use, our industry could suffer a serious setback by not dealing with the issue upfront.” |

I had similar problems with my first daughter it was years later that it was discovered she was Milk and dairy intolerant
Remove all Milk and Dairy products from your diet and continue to breastfeed .......I bet this will make a big difference |

I'd say 'yes' definitely to the elmination of milk. I'd also eliminate eggs. The mother's body makes its own milk, and doesn't need to modify it with milk 'designed' for cows, nor with 'milk' (eggs) designed for chickens. Also, read labels on your packaged, canned, or frozen foods for milk, eggs, or their constituents (e.g., caseine, lactose, whey).

I think that the problem is not in baby’s sickness, but in mom’s delusion that her body is acidic. Most children spit up after feeding and it’s not a pathology at all. You’d better keep on breastfeeding and after each meal to keep the baby in vertical position. Judging by the baby’s condition no treatment is needed. Tell yourself that your are healthy and strong and everything’s gonna be all right.
