My dear Jon Haworth,

After reading the behaviour of some members at this forum, my mind is recalling this poem by MOTHER TERESA which really apply upon some members, I would like to request you “FOR GIVE THEM ANYWAY”

People are often unreasonable,
Irrational, and self-centered;
FOR GIVE THEM ANYWAY.

If you are kind, people may accuse
You of selfish, ulterior motives;
BE KIND ANY WAY.

If you are successful, you will win some
Unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies;
SUCCEED ANYWAY.

If you are honest and sincere
People may deceive you
BE HONEST AND SINCERE ANYWAY.

What you spend years creating
Others could destroy overnight;
CREATE ANYWAY.

If you find serenity and happiness,
Some may be jealous;
BE HAPPY ANYWAY

The good you do today,
Will often be forgotten.
DO GOOD ANYWAY.

Give the best you have,
And it may never be enough;
GIVE YOUR BEST ANYWAY.

In the final analysis
It is between YOU and GOD;
IT WAS NEVER YOU AND THEM ANYWAY.

Arshad, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I've only been able to make use of this bulletin board a few times, but I can't read one discussion where someone ends up getting too heated about a subject. Thank you.

I like it too. I also like this one...
"Forgiveness is not about forgetting. It is remembering without bitterness."

This way we can allow ourselves and others to be ordinary human beings, without acting holier than thou.

So it follows that if you can have enough humility in the first place to acknowledge you don't really know all the facts about people, what motivates them, then you don't have to make judgements about them that require your "forgiveness".
