There seems to be no symptoms in the case except for the diagnosis and the shock of the bad news,
for which Ignatia could possibly be the remedy, but you might ask him, "How do you feel since the bad news?" You have to treat this because it's the top layer of the case and an energy leak, which will further stress the liver unless it's treated. Check the rubric: Mind, News, bad news, ailments from.

If you can get this cleared away, find out what his symptoms are if you can find any:

Color of tongue--a yellow tongue points to certain remedies, such as Nat-sulph and Chelidonium.

Is there diarrhea?--Diarrhea stands out in Arsenicum, but profuse yellow diarrhea would make you think of podophyllum.

What color are the stools?

What was the cause? Think of Ars. for bad food and water. China--bad food and water with gas and bloating.

Gas and bloating? Think of China and Lycopodium
(Lycopodium--desires sweets but is worse for them)

The #1 remedy by the way is Chelidonium. Yellow tongue, possibly yellow sclera, itching, brown urine, white or yellow stool.

Do you have a therapeutic book? A book of differentials which lists the major ailments followed by the remedies that typically treat them and the necessary information for choosing a particular remedy? It would be good to have one or more of these. Roger Morrison has a good one called Desktop Companion to Physical Pathology.

In the absence of symptoms, an herbal tonic for the liver, and the cell salt for the liver, which I believe is Nat-sulph 6X, taken 3 or 4 times a day would be a good way to start.

After the effectiveness of new classical homeopathic defination. You can prescribe on disease too. As I am lurking since 1985.

I am not a compound practitioner. I always prefer to prescribe single remedy. This is my record. I do not believe on combination therapy but as a habit and being an opposition leader. I will prefer to act according to new approach started by Dr. Peter Chappell,

Dear Aamir,

YOU can give following medicine to your patient. All classical doctor are doing same thing

Chelidonium, chionanthus, cardus mar, felturi, china and see few more medicine in materia medica in mother tincture form. These are herbal. So don't say it is combination therapy. Put five to ten drops from each 10 bottles and direct yur patient to take after meal.

In the mean time you can take phos 1 m, nit acid 1 m, sulph 1m, nux vom 1m, nat sulph 1m, cham 1 m, ignatia 1m and few more relating medicine just like nat mur 1 m on alternate days. don't use them in combination. YOU can take in series of medicine. It is also not combination as all classical homeopaths are doing.

Believe me your patient will cure

Dear Aamir,

Absence of symptoms usually associated with hepatitis - loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fever, abdominal pain, jaundice, etc - suggest, I) the infection is not of recent date and 2) the patient is in a chronic carrier state. Have him tested for HbeAg and HbsAg. In all probability, HbeAg will be negative as the patient seems to be in a non-replicative stage. These tests may not help in selection of the remedy but will certainly help in assessing the progress at a later stage.

Try to retake the case. With the scanty information, it is second to impossible to suggest a remedy.

Ghazi,

You seems to have good knowledge over the status of homeopathy in Pakistan. Please tell us about your opinion that whether Pakistanis use mother tincture with single remedies....????

In which category these doctors fall who use mother tincture (two or three) with other single remedies (constitutional) on their patients.

Is this a classical approach.???

Stranger, that would be a long discussion and for sheer lack of time, I do not want to be drawn into such discussions. Briefly, most of Pakistani Homeopaths do prescribe a concoction of mother tinctures and at times do get good results. However, strictly speaking, that is not homeopathy - that is mixopathy.

Ghazi,

As Sir David Johnson said our first priority is to give relief to patient by any means in HIV or in other discussion.

If mother tincture which is a first or second or third potency then what is the hurdle of using these potencieis. we have to cure the patient and not to see mixopathy or homeopathy.

peter chap also manufactured mixopathy medicine. it is very effective. I have contacted my friend in england to procure that medicine and send the medicine to pakistan. if the patient got cure after using that medicine then what is the problem with you.

Dear Aamir

I agree with Dr. Ghazi that you can not predict about a remedy without taking full case. With scanty information, you can only guess the remedy but you can't treat with confidence. Try to retake the case.
