What flu remedy do we think of with the following meager information:

Sluggish...sleeping alot...hiccups..regurgitation from small amounts of food. Stomach convulsing as if about to throw up even after drink. Better sitting up or head raised on pillow.

Sleeping, sluggishness and hiccupping is definitely gelsemium.

How's the flu case coming along? (Speaking as someone who just got over the flu.)

I gave her gel. And she started talking some...instead of just sleeping. But I told her doctor the next day that she had had a cough for several weeks and I had given her rumex(BIG MISTAKE). Her cough went away after three shots of rumex. But that is when this hiccoughing started. The hiccough is almost a surpressed cough. If you try to surpress a cough...your stomach may contract. He told me to give her belladonna 30c or better yet bell 200c....to antidote the rumex. I gave her the 30c until the 200 came by pony express and she actually had a little cough and has started talking a little more. I'm going to wait until morning to give her the 200 after I see how she is doing.

Very interesting, but it does seem as though the gels. did something. Let us know what happens.
