I just read an interview in Simillimum that mentioned some phenomona that accompanied a proving. It included things like people who did not take the remedy showing some similar symptoms, and someone totally unconnected to the proving having dreams related to the remedy after sleeping in the room that had been used to discuss and share the results. This seems to be a controversial area - and I'm wondering if anyone can direct me to articles or books that include information on this. I'm looking for descriptions of people's experiences, as opposed to arguments for or against the validity of including these symptoms. I've read many arguments - now I'm trying to understand the events that got it all started. Thanks - Kari

Dear Kari,
I think Dr. Leela would be the best person to ask. She knows Rajan Sankaran and he is the one who first noticed this phenomenon, as far as I know. You could post a topic to her attention, or wait and hope she reads your above post. It's an interesting topic. Snoopy |

SOme of these phenomena were noticed during provings. BAsically it would be understood that the dose used is an "energy" and hence would affect people who were in contact.
IT controversial, basically because its a phenomenon that sounds outlandish at first thought. BUT people senistive to Extra Sensory phenomena would vouch for it. Difficult to give you details about any specific provings, but yes, it seems that people who were part of the proving but were not given the remedy also developed symptoms by being in contact with those who had. Another aspect of this idea was keeping the remedy under the pillow, not really taking it orally, and having dreams related to the proving of the remedy. Various other (coincidental?)phenomena were also noted. Well so much for unexplained phenomena. The main thing is that these observations have been made. Maybe one day there will be an explanation?

I think, that was just the mind, not the energy of the medicine that caused those symptoms. Most of the oversensitive patients experience what they think.

Really, in Plutonium's patogenesia, Jeremy Scherr reports that the jars were coming by post in flasks already torn, that the experimenters broke accidental his jars or were falling down of his hands, the machine of washing exploited, etc. As if the energy of the remedy was acting for his bill.

Thanks for all of the information. These types of phenomena do occur in many areas of scientific exploration as well as mysticism. Call them what you will - extra-sensory, "non-local", synchronistic, telekinetic, etc. - they do occur. We don't have a good solid understanding of them yet, so they are often either dismissed/ignored or given too much importance (because they are so amazing when experienced first hand). I hope that our provers continue to note these things as they happen to help further our understanding - as well as keep them in perspective when analyzing the effects of remedies acting on healthy people vs. how the remedies affect this realm of unexplained phenomena. Thanks again for all the tips - I'll keep looking!

There have been similar things observed in a Tuberculinum reproving.
It was even in individuals, which were only taking the placebo. Thje proving was not done in a group. No-one knew the remedy to be proven. It was alledged, that the close proximity of the two substances could have lead to an information transfer from one glassbottle to another. In order to exclude this possibility Spagyros Homeopathic Pharmacies Switzerland have their remedies doublepacked. This means, that the actual container is in another one, which guarantees at least 5-7mm distance to the outer wall of the second container. According to their findings-this prevents the ''picturing''. they have been doing this for more than 30 years. Other Pharmacies, who I have aproached about this problem, have not followed this example.
