Just to let you know, that my Internet-clinic is opened now officially. I have treated a good few cases successfully, and i am confident, that it will benefit a few.

All the best Hans.
BUt if I may say so, I remember you being one of the anti - internet treatment persons a while earlier? Maybe we could dig out those threads... Anyway, I'm always glad to know you've changed your mind. doctorleela

Hello Leela,
Anti-Internet treatment persons? Maybe that is me you are thinking of. There's a difference imo between conducting one on one correspondences via the Internet or regular mail (the latter has been done since Hahnemann's time and directions for doing this are given in Chronic Diseases as well as the Lesser Writings of Boenninghausen). Not all cases are suitable to be treated in this way, I think discernment is needed at the outset. I still feel very strongly that is unethical to engage a vulnerable person on a public forum. Agreed.
But its also a choice of the person concerned. Wasn't thinking of anyone in particular.... ....just imagining HAns "getting over his hindrances(!)". [ 22. January 2003, 04:31: Message edited by: doctorleela ]

Hello Leela,
As professionals it is we who have the level of knowledge to know of what is involved in prescribing homoeopathic medicines. It is we, as professionals, who know BEFOREHAND the level of vulnerability that is often exposed in the course of a consultation. It is unethical, imo, to encourage or lead people down this path in a public forum to expose their vulnerability , open them up to questionable divergent views, unknown influences (in the background), expect them to follow instructions without sufficient prior explanation and consensus, in order to satisfy our own self-satisfying ego processes, competitive processes, to indulge our own saviour complexes - all of which take us away from a genuine desire to offer real assistance. Discernment is the key. We know more about homoeopathy than the people who enquire here. We know what is involved. If we take our share of the responsibility, as professionals, less harm ensues. Dear Members
Thanks everyone for taking such an interest in my Web-site. I won't take part, except in extraordinary circumstances, in public presribing on forums. I feel it is unethical and fully agree with chris's views. As with disease there often is involved a personal suffering or tragedy, I feel the need to to protect the personal rights of the patient. Needless to say, that all information passed onto me via mails is handled with STRICT confidence. If at any stage a patient wishes to publish their case, they can do that on their own account.
