Thank you for the response. Eshaan started his day care when he was 8months old. He is the most sensitive among all his friends-just like his mom. He loves to cuddle and we give hime a LOT of love. He loves to wrestle with me and my husband. He loves to play with my hair. He loves tO Kick and throw ball. He is very very friendly is not shy to meet other people. He always asks for fruit juices-preferably fresh fruit juices. His illness in a summary have been 2 stomach viruses 1 fever 1 flu like symptoms...cough and fever I believe all of them were contracted at his day care. Please let me know if you need any other info. Warm regards, Kinny [ 16. January 2003, 22:09: Message edited by: kinny ] |

Hello again Snoopy,
Well Eshaan does not have Diahrrea currently. But the two times he had it was a result of the stomach virus. It was accompanied by vomitting resulting in dehydration. At that time his diahrrea was yellow..not slimy though. His current bowel movememnt is normal and not slimy either. WRT his yellow mucousy disharge...well it starts off with clear disharge on the first day and by the 5th day turns into a thicker yellowish greed discharge. Thank you for taking the interest in my kids' health. Warm regards, Kinny |

Hello again Homeoman,
I loved reading your converstions with Opium wrt Bio-chem. Although, I must say, that your converstaions were a bit bifficult to follow sometimes. Here is the information you had requested: Tongue coating-Usually his tounge is fairly clean. Sometimes he does have a slight coating (usually white) Discharges-So this is where I am a bit confused. It starts off being clear. And if we make him blow enough times, it tends to stay clear but seems to get a bit thicker. But I think if he does not continuosly blow his nose or when we wakes up in the morinig, the discharge tends to be a lot thicker and tends to be greenish yellow. Does this make sense? Timings(Day hours and lapsed days in between problem usually occur)-Okay, so if we ask Eshaan to blow his nose every 1/2 hour then there tends to be enough mucous buildup. But if you are asking me how often this cold/allergy/?? occurs-well he has had it every day every hour since he was 9 or 10 months old. That's almost 19months!!! I had a hard time to make his pediatrician believe this. Discharge from left right or both nostrils-Just before I put him to sleep, I asked him to blow his nose and he had a lot more discharge in his left nostril and hardly any in his right. But most of the times there is almost equal amounts in both. I will pay more attention here on. heat/cold feeling in morning/evening/night-In the night he tends to be warm and does not usually like to keep a blanket on. But the we tend to keep his room fairly warm. Although when I sleep with him I still need a blanket. In the morning as well as the evening he tends to stay fairly warm. There are time when we wants to run around with just his daiper on. aversions-nothing really...he is afraid to go near animals but loves to watch them. Oh and one more thing...he is not as brilliant as his freinds are....all of his friends had started speaking sentences when they were about 22-23mos old. Eshaan is 28mos and still does not complete sentences. Physcially he is the tallest 28 month in my group. He is fairly skinny but is heavy. and fair shiny smooth skin. I hope this helps. Dear Homeoman
More into on Eshaan... He loves to go outdoors...we do take him on day trips outside the house to the mall or to the zoo. He does not necessarily feel any better (in terms of a runny nose) but is excited to be outside. The same happens in the evening as well. He enjoys his baths quite a bit. Because of the steam the discharge loosens up and comes out in abundance. That does provide him some temporary relief. He likes to stay naked for about 10-15 minutes after the shower to cool off (I guess). He is not fat at all. In fact he is a very lean and has a strong boy. His nasal dischare are like thread (very stringy and long) and so they hang off off his nose. I did leave out one important fact...his face is a lot paler than it was before. Also, once Eshaan wakes up, I am going to pay close attention to the coating on his tounge and the color of his nasal discharge. When is the best time to check the tounge for coating? ( I clean his tounge and brush his teeth before he goes to sleep and when he wakes up). My initial eval makes me rule out Natrum Muriaticum but I do not want to haste sna re-evaluate after paying close observation to Eshaan in the morning. Thank you... Warm regards, Kinny [ 17. This is a chronic case and, in my opinion, it does not help much to inquire after the colour of the nasal discharge or the like.
Kinny, which diseases occurred in your family? Ultrasound-diagnostics during pregnancy did he cry a lot as a young baby skin - any eruptions, how treated?, birth marks, warts, hair growth in unusual places any accidents, injuries, wounds healing slowly position in sleep reaction to thunderstorm, noise, darkness habits if he is in bad temper or sad: reaction to consolation, soothing words you mentioned his sensitivity: is he easily offended? what does he do in such a situation? regards, luzie |

Pain in head - Eshaan has never complained. He would usually atleast say "Mumma ouch thai che" (Mom it hurts) and point to his head.
Sneezing - maybe once or twice a day at the most. Nasal Discharge - Thick Light Yellow (But I am going to double check when Eshaan wakes up. I want ot be very sure) Discharge from Bronchial tubes - none. His lungs seem to be free of any mucous formation Feverishness-no...he does not feel feverish ...just lethargic and sometimes tired...he has had two fevers so far and both (I am pretty sure) were contracted from his school. Tounge coating - White coated (But I am going to double check when Eshaan wakes up. I want to be very sure). Also, when do you recommend I check his tounge. I clean his tounge two times daily - before he sleeps and when he wakes up. Will you like Biochemic Remedy and BioCombination - I look to you to make the decision. I am beginning to start the meaning of Homeopathy over the past few days...this is my first exposure, not to homepathic remedies(When growing up in India I took what my Homeopath prescribed without asking any questions) but the concept/philosophy behind it. So, for now I look at you to give me direction. Once again...thank you. Best regards, Kinny [ 17. January 2003, 10:20: Message edited by: kinny ] |

Luzie,
I also thought of Carc. Kinny, hold on, don't just give kali sulph because someone mentions it. This is a remedy that is hardly ever given. It's noted for its yellow mucus discharges; the diarrhea is yellow and slimy--does this match your child? Snoopy |

Thank you for your reply.
Luzie ...here is the info you had requested. which diseases occurred in your family?-Both me and my husband are very healthy. My Father has diabities and blood pressure, mother has low hemoglobin. My husband's father had a heart attack. Ultrasound-diagnostics during pregnancy We had to three ultrsounds...once in the initial stage (8weeks pregnant) when I had a brown discharge and was not sure of the baby's safety. Second was a regular 4month ultrasound. Third was in my third trimester...There was concern that there was not enough water but that was not the case. The pregnancy itself was very difficult...It took a lot of pushing and at times Eshaan was distressed (as noticed by the drop in heartbeat) did he cry a lot as a young baby Yes. Well-he woke a lot more than any of the other kids...and when he did he would cry for a while and calm down when we would pick him up, rock him gently and sing to him. Many times that would not work either and we would have to try different things take him outside, turn on the lights, turn on the TV, etc...as he gre older there were times when he would wake up and not let us pick him up. skin - any eruptions, how treated?-None birth marks, warts, hair growth in unusual places-Eshaan's nerves show very prominently on the left hand side of his forehead. We can see three of his nerves. On the right hand side, one of his nerves on his neck is a bit lumpy...it looks prominent when he speaks at a high pitch...it about 1/8 of an inch and is at about the middle of his neck. He does not complain about it and it does not hurt him. any accidents, injuries, wounds healing slowly-When he was 26mos old he fell from a bench and hit the conrete bottom. He developed a cut under his chin but it healed over a week. position in sleep- He sleeps straight on his back. His head is on a soft pillow. He like to keep his leg on top of the blanket(a bit elevated) and hardly puts the blanket on himself. reaction to thunderstorm, noise, darkness-We do not see a lot of thunderstorms in California. But last year when he was 20mos old, we took him to Mexico and there he saw thunderstorms and was VERY scared. So was I...never seen anything like it all my life. Loud noises do not bother him...he loves to listen to music loud. He is not afraid of the dark. He seleeps by himself but waskes up 2-3 times every night and yells out "mumma" or "Daddy" and if we do not reach in time, he starts to cry and sometime it epoould take a good half hour to calm him down. He hits me a lot when he is upset like that. Even when he waqs young, some nights he would cry for an hour without any reason and he would not let us pick him up. His face would turn all red and tears would fall profusely. habits-wakes up very early, usually goes poo after breakfast, he aslways chews on his blanket. if he is in bad temper or sad: reaction to consolation, soothing words-Well he is hardly sad...when he has a bad temper and you try to talk to him in soothing words, her would say "No!!" and many times hit me. This happens mostly when he wakes up and finds his father gone, When I do not give hime something or when I ask him not to do something. He listens a lot more to his father...I think he loves his father more. He has a great father who is always there for him-90% of the time, my husband feeds him and give him a shower. you mentioned his sensitivity: is he easily offended? what does he do in such a situation? He is easily offended when we tell him he is wrong...usually he would cry with tears rolling from his eyes but is convinced quickly with a tight hug and a lot of kisses. All Homeo What do you mean by calcarea carbonica? Warm regards, Kinny |
