Somewhat worried that this childs Homeopath who certainly is treating her constitutionally but is now proposing using like for like remedies .......ie using a gluten potency to treat the coeliac

This goes against all that i have understood is true constitutional prescribing

Does anyone here have experience of children with Coeliac or like to comment on using a gluten potency in such a case

This is NOT constituional prescribing. It is tautopathy (or isopathy - never did know the difference ) but it is not homeopathy .

Sounds like this child needs a more experienced homeopath.

There are some people who say using the potentized "substance" which "causes" the problem is helpful...but I can only see it complicating matters into a mess. Besides, I'd bet my life the gluten isn't the problem: it's just a little notification of a problem, probably much more complex and hard to define if you're going to only look for material causes. After all, we're only guessing that gluten is the problem.

by the way, tautopathy involves making a potentized substance from an allopathic medicine (eg. using a vaccine to make a remedy, or using something like prozac to make a remedy. Proving symptoms would be all the effects of the drug seen through normal use...and this includes the full side effect coterie.)

Interested that you feel Gluten Intolerance may only be part of the picture
