Feels cold and draughts even in very warm room and with warm clothes ......complains feet are freezing, lower back is freezing when others are fine prefers to be in sunny warm climates ....hates the damp cold in UK No problem with wind off the sea whereas wife would feel chilled to the bone is such a situation If he goes outside for a walk in current wet damp weather comes back sneezing with copious clear discharge for hours Would choose spicy Indian/chinese food if out as at home etc wife and he eat fairly simple fresh foods and salads Cucumber and ginger disagrees but otherwise will eat most foods without problem fine tremor of hands if hungry or after any exertion like cutting the grass Body temp consistantly 96.2 ......nothing raises it For last year ...difficulty starting stream of urine ...stop start .poor stream ...wakes up and goes to toilet 2 or 3 times a night although not sure that its bladder pressure thats waking him Incomplete emptying of bladder more frequent need to urinate during the day In last year 3 or 4 attacks of fairly severe aching pressure discomfort across lower abdomen /bladder area Ultrasound shows enlarged central portion of prostrate with some calcification and incomplete emptying of bladder Cannot cope now and never has been able to cope with stress in any form .....currently trying to cope with NFH who is agressive and difficult over everything Wants to move house to escape the stress but this will prove very difficult No family history of prostrate problems known Father and brothers and self still relatively highly sexed in later life . Allopathic specialist insisting TURP op is needed urgently but patient does not like the arrogant attitude of specialist or the refusal to discuss the outcome etc and concerned that such invasive proceedure may cause more problems than it cures Any one any ideas on this |

pat, this situation is not one to be taken on the bb.
if there is a flare up and urine cannot be voided, this can cause reflux to the kidneys and blood poisoning which can be fatal. >> refer the patient to a competent homoeopath. |

I don't know about this case but have been doing some research on Selenium and think its an under-used remedy. Can be useful for prostate problems and issues about sexual performance, depression and withdrawal. Has anyone any experience using this remedy?
