I'm really curious as to which remedy worked. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the Sil-ac discussion on another thread.

Now I can't find the thread. Maybe someone else remembers it. There was a photo of a remedy bottle. I think it said it was Silicea, but was Silicea-acid. I think there was some discussion of it being indicated in cases of vetiligo.

quoted symptoms:

1. He carries luggage and charge fare from the customer. He was doing this job for the last 5 years. Earlier he was doing a job in oil factory.

2. symptoms were started when he adopted riding horse carriage as a profession

Would there be any effect on the persons skin working in oil factories and handling horses?

Thanks

The number of symptoms listed does not allow a proper analysis of the whole case but at least some observations. The text states:

Patient was repeating again and again.... "I have no other complains except this one.... skin eruption etc treat my this condition"

This is important and perhaps for some the selection of the appropriate rubric may seems strange but I would select the following rubric for this.

MIND - KILL desire. This is because kill shall not be taken literally but it can also refer to get rid of things like a problem. He has a strong desire to get rid of his skin eruptions, basically he says kill it.

Looking at the symptoms listed this might point to Merc but taking into account that he has worked in an oil factory and handling horses I would first look at Petroleum. Petroleum is also used when taking care of horses and off cause in oil industry. Moreover Petroleum is also listed under MIND- KILL desire in italic.

to mose,

Mental symptoms play an important role but not taking into consideration of other symptoms during full case analysis would not be helpful in selecting a proper remedy for the patient. I think choice of merc is not bad.
