In that case, I'd check whether Rhus Tox also covers the modalities of the cold sores and then - depending on the intensity - would indicate a need for repeptition of the remedy or not.
This is now assuming that Rhustox what chosen on "consitutional" characteristis as a constitutional similimum.

Another aspect to understand is whether a bad outbreak of Herpes Zoster in someone with Cardiac complaints ( Ventricular Premature beats - VPB's) on already on constitutional treatment is a sign of Direction of cure or not?
Does this person require treatment with a remedy?
What would you say to this David?

ED: In addition,
Would you rate a cold sore, herpes zoster as a "skin eruption/infection" or a "nerve infection manifested on the skin"?
Would that put a different light interpreting it on the basis of the Law of cure?

David, I think you did not read the first post. She is saying there is no other important symptom except the single and peculiar one, which she told us. Otherwise the patient is well. *WEll* means the other symptoms are not important or symptoms are not causing harm to her patient. What is the hurdle of not treating that single symptom if the patient demands.

Hi Carol, The complete symptom might be useful as a most recent psoric outbreak, but I would still have to know the *history* of the case. That is, even if they presented this symptom as their first point of contact I would still need to see it in context of the history of the whole expression. Cold sores are a non-life-threatoning condition and I would be focussing on the entire miasmatic expression to see where this symptom lay in relation to the miasmatic cause.
