the docs I spoke with were sympathetic and are very much against vaccination - both are doctors who specialize in home births and have two large home birthing clinics in my area. Both said that no doctor would put their practice on the line by doing a medical exemption as apparently there was an incident here no long ago.

Divina, the lawyer I am gonna speak to does just that - I think. From what I've been told anyway. That's the route I imagine we'll be going.

Before all these holistic doctors came on board, I had to go the religious exemption route.

I did exactly what I was told by one of the anti-vaccine societies:

I typed out a statement which said something like, "I object to vaccinations on religious grounds as per section ___, subparagraph ____ of the Pennsylvania law stating: blah blah blah."
I then had it notarized--several copies--and the school accepted it.

There are anti-vaccination societies that will tell you exactly what to say or write for your particular state. I suspect they can be found online.

Oh, thanks for the reminder to mention Iraq, Snoopy. I will send a separate rant about that. Do ya think any of those guys who represent us will actually listen? I might have to take to shooting arrows at sharon's butt with Carol if I can persuade her to join me.
