Hi
Think more in the line of hypersensitive to pain.
Put some drops of Hypericum tincture in her water
for one day only, and see if it does something.

Hepar Sulph. is also extremely sensitive to pain.
Please do try one dose Hepar 30.

Thanks do much for your replies! The pain has been sufficiently numbed by the prednisone and she has started to eat again. SubQ fluids is out of the question unless I were to find an army of expert handlers to help me. Unfortunately because I've doped her up, whatever I give her I won't know if she's responding to it or not until the steriods are gone in a few days. They should last in her system (given G/I) for about 2 days, then I will give her a remedy. She has been under tremendous strain lately so I like the cham suggestion to help her chill out, that I could probably give her tonight. I'll try to come up with more symptoms to confirm nat mur or hepar and post tomorrow. Thanks again for your speedy replies!!!!!

Hi,
I liked Nat Mur when I first read your recent post. Though it sounds silly, I also thought of Acon, though it is only a psoric. What would be a good remedy to try to clear the steriods? I can't remember, is it Nux V? Nux V has seems to work well (for a starter) with cats for skin(which I guess gums are)/emotional/attitude(hiding/antisocial) problems.

Do I need to consider giving something for the steriods 1st if they were only given for 2 days G/I? She seems to be slowing down again with the food (indicating the steriods are depleted and the inflamation is out again)so I wanted to give Nat mur 30ch in water tonight (I checked both hep and nat; better match on nat). Thanks

Hi GPM, Kitty was started on nat mur LM1 2 days ago and still she will not eat again. I don't know if its in her head or if she is experiencing pain (although when I glimpse her open mouth, it doesn't look obviously inflamed.) I will try to syringe feed her a bit to see if the taste of food won't urge her to attempt to eat again. If that doesn't work, I have to assume that the nat mur is not right after all. After the 30c wore of, her symptoms were the same again (however few), its not like anything changed... will keep you posted.

I bought her some A/D and she ate it all; hopefully this will get her appetite back and she will try to eat her raw food. I'll cross my fingers that the nat mur is healing and the raw won't cause her anymore pain!

Hi kkrista,
new to this site but not to Homeopathy. Been reading about the cat and feel that Kreasotum is indicated in 30c. Look it up and see what you think ,I think it is fairly well indicated. Good luck. Keep us posted.
